Stonewall Farm is a 1785 Farmhouse that is not only a B&B, but a Caregivers Respite B&B. We offer the following services to our guests for their relaxation: massage therapy, Rieki, meditation and support groups. All rooms offer air conditioning, hair dryers, robes, goat milk soaps. There are many area activities including: swimming, kayaking, golf, hiking, biking, skiing, snowmobile trails, and of course snowshoeing right out of our back door. The Hillsborough area offers several yearly events. Balloon Festival in July, Living History Event in August, and Schnitzelfest in September You must also take a tour of The Franklin Pierce Homestead and our many "stone arch" bridges. Stonewall Farm B&B in itself is rich in history. It was the birthplace of N.H. 42Nd Governor David Goodell, and was also the largest farm in Hillsborough County, N.H. In the 1800's, consisting of 1,000 acres+. Stonewall Farm B&B also has a seasonal barn for small weddings and other functions such as meetings and family reunions. Larger weddings can be accommodated with a tent rental for your event. Farm fresh eggs from Stonewall Farm are used for breakfast. We also grow as much produce organically as possible for our breakfast. If you are fortunate enough to visit us during blueberry season, you may go home with a large bag of "pick your own" blueberries.

This is a lovely B & B, in a beautifully restored 18th century building but with all modern conveniences. Meg and Ed are gracious and friendly hosts who provide a top-notch experience. Breakfast was scrumptious, room was comfortable and we loved the old claw-foot tub for soaking away all tension and fatigue (also includes a shower, but who can pass up that tub?). They also have a friendly, but not obnoxious, golden doodle who is well behaved but always willing to keep you company. We found a good restaurant nearby and enjoyed the peace and quiet of this lovely home.

Hello Elizabeth , Thank you for your lovely review! I am so glad that you enjoyed the antique claw foot tubs. We have two and how can you not take a relaxing soak? King also thanks you for his review! He is the best "Inn dog" ever! I have never had a dog like him! Come again for another Stonewall Farm experience! Have a good winter! If you have a hankering for a warm fire in the fireplace or the cookstove in the kitchen, give us a call. Warm Regards, Ed and Meg

We stayed in the Franklin Pierce room. The bathroom is amazing and the bed is extremely cozy and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was always spot on delicious! Meg and Ed were so inviting and kind, along with their dog King (he is a very good boy) they truly made our experience something special!!

Thank you for your heartfelt review of Stonewall Farm B&B! We try to make sure that all of our guests have their needs met and feel like this 1785 Farm House wraps its "arms" around all of our guests. Now that we are into the cooler weather, the fireplace will be going and the wonderful 1800's cook stove in the kitchen will be on to take the chill off of the air. Apple cider, here we come! We hope you can come again to just kick back and relax! Warm Regards, Ed and Meg

I stayed at Stonewall Saturday, 10/3 and had the most wonderful time. The hosts, Meg & Ed were most accommodating and their Labradoodle King made me feel even more welcome. The circa 1700s farmhouse is amazing and I learned about its fascinating history from Meg & Ed. I WAS disappointed that the resident spirit didn't come calling, but the charming reading nooks, delicious breakfast and gorgeous grounds made up for it. I hope to go back next year and bring a friend who loves old barns and learning about its history. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed here while in the area for a wedding. The trip didn't originally didn't start well because the Airbnb my friend and I got turned out to be pretty bad. It ended up working out for the absolute best because my friend and I were able to get a room here! This place is like walking into something from a fairy tale. From being treated like family to one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen, this place is perfection. Not only was the room clean but you can feel the love that goes into this place. It is like walking into a hug. Speaking of hugs, the resident dog loves attention!! The food was delicious, coffee too notch, view fantastic and the hosts incredibly friendly. If you want a magical stay, you need to stay here!!! Highly recommend!!!

Oh my goodness! Your review makes our hearts full! We strive for the very best experience for our guests. We absolutely love what we do, and it is nice to see that you have made our hard work pay off! We believe in excellence in every aspect of inn keeping . We accept nothing less of ourselves. The reason folks need to seek out B&B's, and inns with good reviews is evident in your experience. We are licensed with the state, pay state taxes and abide with all of the laws and requirements. This is not always the case with Airbnb! Know about where you are going! We look forward to your respite here next year!! Enjoy each day! Warmest Regards, Meg and Ed

After having a horrible experience with a place we were supposed to stay I got online to find a new place to stay. I ran into this lovely place. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It felt like home. The host Ed and Meg did everything they could for me. Had an amazing breakfast every morning. The place is clean and had a great feel to it. If you ever get the chance to stay here you will not be disappointed. There are beautiful views that no picture would do it justice. My friend and I enjoyed ourselves so much that we already have a trip planned there for a weekend next year. Everything happens for a reason and I am so happy I got to stay here.
