Stonewall Farm is a 1785 Farmhouse that is not only a B&B, but a Caregivers Respite B&B. We offer the following services to our guests for their relaxation: massage therapy, Rieki, meditation and support groups. All rooms offer air conditioning, hair dryers, robes, goat milk soaps. There are many area activities including: swimming, kayaking, golf, hiking, biking, skiing, snowmobile trails, and of course snowshoeing right out of our back door. The Hillsborough area offers several yearly events. Balloon Festival in July, Living History Event in August, and Schnitzelfest in September You must also take a tour of The Franklin Pierce Homestead and our many "stone arch" bridges. Stonewall Farm B&B in itself is rich in history. It was the birthplace of N.H. 42Nd Governor David Goodell, and was also the largest farm in Hillsborough County, N.H. In the 1800's, consisting of 1,000 acres+. Stonewall Farm B&B also has a seasonal barn for small weddings and other functions such as meetings and family reunions. Larger weddings can be accommodated with a tent rental for your event. Farm fresh eggs from Stonewall Farm are used for breakfast. We also grow as much produce organically as possible for our breakfast. If you are fortunate enough to visit us during blueberry season, you may go home with a large bag of "pick your own" blueberries.

My sweetheart and I spent our twentieth anniversary over the Columbus Day weekend and had a wonderfully relaxing time. Meg and Ed were gracious, friendly and easy to get along with. The cool temperatures and grey skies did little to detract from the New England autumn

Hello David and Lynn, Thank you so very much for your kind review of Stonewall Farm B&B! I am way behind on my responses, so I apologize. Now we are almost finished decorating all the trees in all of the rooms..getting set for this magical holiday ahead of us. The snow has decided to come much earlier than usual. Come and snowshoe with us this winter and sit by our warm fires. Looking forward to seeing you again very soon. Warm Regards, Ed and Meg

Located only 2 1/2 miles from the Franklin Pierce Homestead, this place is a real find. Our room, the Kingman, is furnished with a king size bed. The entire house exudes comfort. But, the best thing about this stay was meeting Meg and Ed who are the warmest and friendliest

My family rented all the rooms in the house for a long weekend and we couldn't have felt any more at home. The owners are great and have many stories to tell about the property and life in general, I could talk to them all day! The back deck is just where I want to

Good afternoon, Thank you for your lovely review! Today is certainly the day to be sitting on the deck with a glass of iced tea! The extreme heat is still with us, but I dare not to complain, as before you can blink there will be snow on the ground ! Peterborough is always a nice jaunt with much to offer. Looking forward to seeing you again in the foliage season....perhaps cool enough for a fire in the fireplace! Take care and see you soon. Warm Regards, Ed and Meg

Is there cross country skiing nearby?
Yes, there is cross country skiing. Granite Gorge is located approximately 15 miles west of us, located on Rt. 9. We also have Fox State Forest in Hillsborough, and Pillsbury State Park just north of us on Rt.31., Washington, N.H.. Both of these parks have wonderful trails, but not groomed. You can also ski or snowshoe (we have snowshoes), right out our back door ! Thank you for your inquiry. Meg and Ed / Innkeepers
