My wife and I are visiting the area and were told of this Bed and Breakfast. We checked it out and were given a tour of this facility by Bill the owner. It is a small place with only 4 units just the type of place the doctor recommended for peace and quiet. When we return we will definitely stay here.
The Lord made the universe in 6 days, and rested on the 7th, after he planned for creating Bill and Sheila. We cannot thank them enough for not just a wonderful B & B experience, but for the love and caring they provided to us. Our niece/goddaughter was getting married, and they also hosted the bride and all of the ladies for a pre-wedding, get beautiful, full day event. They made everything special. We have not only made two new friends in Sheila and Bill, but new members of our family. They are two of nicest, smartest, most genuine people you will find. June and Mike.
Sheila and Bill welcome you and your dog into their Inn (home) with open arms - from a safe distance of course. This was our first stay outside our home in Covid times and we were a bit nervous. But, there was no need as the hosts and guests were respectful, keeping distance and leaving screened windows open to circulate fresh air throughout the beautiful inn. I quickly felt safe and well-cared-for - a feeling that's been missing since mid-March. As nice as the inn is, and the bountiful breakfast prepared to order was, the view of Newfound Lake from the upstairs balcony is stunning. No better spot to sit with a beer and watch the sun set. The lake is a revelation, probably the cleanest, clearest lake in NH. Come for the lake, be treated like royalty. I look forward to returning to Coppertoppe!…
My husband and I just returned from spending three comfy nights at Coppertoppe. A man of very few words, my husband still found it necessary to tell me that of all the B&Bs and inns we've stayed at over the past decade or so (many), this one was the best. "They cater to our every whim!", he exclaimed. I discovered the place looking up "pet friendly lodging in New Hampshire", and noted a review that stated the woman's dogs were treated better there than they ever had been anywhere else. That's probably a bit of an understatement. Sheila actually prepared homecooked poached chicken for our dog which he wolfed down for breakfast daily (when she had time, Sheila hand-fed him, as we enjoyed our own repasts). This is taking "pet friendly" to a new level. They love dogs and rest assured, yours will be treated as (as Sheila says) "dogs can do no wrong". Speaking of rest assured, you will be staying in a large room or suite, spotlessly clean, with a lovely view overlooking Newfound Lake nestled in the White Mountains. Back at the inn, Bill and Sheila will be preparing all sorts of breakfast goodies (basically to order) and you will also be provided with plentiful snacks and beverages of your choosing for the duration of your stay. At some point you get the feeling that you're staying at the home of friends who just happen to have a plethora of huge, comfortably appointed guest rooms available at their place. You really can't get better than that.…
A perfect place for a quiet getaway. The rooms have decks overlooking Newfound Lake. Rooms are clean and spacious. Sheila and Bill are friendly and attentive. They make a bountiful breakfast accommodated to your tastes.
