We hadn't stayed at the Gibson House since Marty and Suzie bought it and were curious to see how the new owners are doing. It is still a great place to stay, comfortable rooms and superlative b'fast! This is one of the oldest houses in the Upper Valley so in some respects it seems a bit tired and in need... More

Enjoyed teaching my pastel and oil workshop at the Gibson House. Susan and Marty are gracious helpful and provide wonderful breakfasts and lunches. Lovely, big clean rooms and a great area! I did not stay during my workshop because I live near, but my students liked the rooms they had and the ones I saw were really nice.

I just recently attended an art workshop at Gibson House. It was thoroughly enjoyable in every way. The well lighted downstairs studio is above ground at garden level and used as backup to the primary work spaces on two porches overlooking the beautiful backyard garden. I stayed in the immaculately clean "Day at the Beach" room with a plush comfy... More

We enjoyed a lovely time at the Gibson House. Everything was great! The Hacienda room where we stayed was super clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed how spacious the accommodations were. The Baked Blueberry French toast was stellarly delicious!

We recently spent several days participating in one of the many summer art workshop offerings at the Gibson House B&B. We could not have been more pleased with our experience. Our room (Le Petit Chateau) was elegant and airy with spectacular sunset and early morning views, and the king-sized bed offered a perfect night’s sleep. The peaceful and relaxed atmosphere,... My wife and I stayed here for one night and wished it could have been more. We were actually greeted by Marty in the driveway as we arrived 4 hours early for check in... The room was ready and we were brought in and given a tour by our very gracious host. He has the perfect personality for a B&B... More

Artist/Buyer beware…this is falsely advertised. I stayed here for a painting workshop where there was supposed to be a studio to paint in . It turned out to be the basement storage area with hanging lights NO sunlight nor windows. It was filled with empty boxes had water damage and worst of all smelled of mildew. The room I stayed... I absolutely adore this Bed and Breakfast. Warm hospitality, lovely accommodations (including adorably themed rooms and restrooms), and completely relaxed atmosphere. The yard is lovely and you can get a great view from the surrounding windows. I stayed in the Taj, which had a very lovely glass moon which let the light in for a cute and funky atmospheric effect.... More

We've stayed at the Gibson House several times. Most all my family are here, so we've spent a lot of time in this area. We've stayed in other hotels and inns, that left us wanting. There are the places we'd really rather not even shower at, and there are the places that are not as nice, that cost a small... More

I don't understand how this B&B has 4.5 stars. I've stayed at several B&Bs including ones in New England and have always paid less (usually a lot less) for a better experience. Pros: the owner is nice, the breakfast was good, and there's a nice view from the back. Cons: the rooms and house are not well maintained or decorated.... More
