We had a wonderful few days at the beautifully appointed Gibson House B&B. Our room was bright and spacious, the bed and bedding extremely comfortable and accommodations spotless. Our breakfast was outstanding, with delicious home-baked treats daily, as well as delectable omelettes made to order - and the best freshly brewed coffee. Our hosts, Mary and Susie, took care to ensure that all our needs were met. They gave us excellent recommendations for the best things to see and do within driving distance of Gibson House. We hope to go back again and again!
We had the recent pleasure of staying at the Gibson House B&B with my husband and son. The room was beautifully decorated, bright and very comfortable. The grounds lovely, breakfast delicious, and the location is perfect. Most lovely are the owners, who are extremely warm and hospitable. My son left his sweater at the house, and it was immediately mailed to us too! Thank you for the great stay and extra effort, it was a pleasure to meet you!
Absolutely delightful stay at our first travel experience this year. My breakfast was beyond compare, Amazing homemade blueberry muffins and what I like to call a “kitchen sink” veggie omelette w/cheddar cheese, crispy bacon…& strong coffee! The bed was super comfortable & the view?!!! Gorgeous! Request the petit chateau on the third floor - gorgeous roomy bathroom with skylight…spa like comfort! Hope everyone can get a chance to enjoy this lovely couple and their BnB, they get hospitality and how to make guests feel welcome!
Charming accommodations in a historic inn with an unbeatable price and location! The owner Susie greeted us upon arrival and met each of our requests and needs with friendly gracious warm hospitality. Even putting my clothing into her dryer late at night when we got to the B&B because apparently my suitcase and clothing was rained on/in during our air travels to New Hampshire and she also offered free laundry services the next morning for some of our clothing! The breakfasts Susie made were unbelievably delicious and we appreciated her concern for each person's individual tastes and likes. Our 13 year old was truly enamored with the old fashioned radio and the historic home qualities and loved playing piano in the living room. One evening, my husband and I had a special dinner to attend and Susie not only offered to spend time with our 17 and 13 year old sons (whom were staying at the Gibson House) she taught them how to make and bake a traditional Jewish challah--my son's were so excited about it and our youngest carried it all the way home on the plane to San Diego and begged me to bake Susie's recipe once back here! Thank you Marty and Susie for the great stay at the Gibson House and appreciate your kindness and convenient accommodations.…
We had several groups stay at the Gibson House and it was great. Old rooms with plenty of charm and a great breakfast. The wedding was at the Kingswood Camp - about 15 minutes away. The hosts were fabulous and everyone felt at home.
