This place was exceptional! My family and I stayed there for 2 nights. The place felt like home; clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The owners delivered an exceptional customer service!!! They're so nice! The food was great( Egg Strada)!!!They went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. The view from my room was amazing!!!! I would defiantly come back to this... More

Participated in Artist Robert O'Brien 3 Day Watercolor Workshop (En plein air) coordinated with the Gibson House Bed and Breakfast. The Gibson House Host and Hostess, Marty Cohen and Susie Klein together with the staff, offered excellent service, delicious meals, informative and interesting conversation. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and lovingly decorated, each room offering a unique theme, pictures do... More

Stayed at the Gibson House one night on our way to drop off my daughter at Camp Farwell. We LOVED it! Leslie and her daughter were our hosts and they couldn't be lovelier. The grounds are a dream and the sunset view from the back porch is magical. Rooms are huge and comfortable, and super clean. I can't wait to... More

My husband and I first stayed at the Gibson House in June 2009 during the weekend that we got engaged! We decided that weekend that we would return as our family grew-bringing each of our children back to what became such a memorable and special place for us. Our room, called The Taj, was lovely. My husband first chose it... More

My husband and I wanted to say how much we enjoyed our watercolor workshop at the Gibson House. We loved the variety of painting locations, the gardens, the porches, and the many indoor areas for critiques and group discussion. The atmosphere was inspiring; the meals were delicious; and Susie and Marty were always willing to accommodate our special requests. We... More

The Gibson House offers itself as a wonderful retreat for artists and art workshops. I went there in July with a group of artists. The one thing I can say about the GH is that the food was good. The accommodations were not set up for an art workshop. They have no slop sink or any specific area set up for... More

Musty basement workspace with no sink and not enough table space. Desperately needs a dehumidifier. The whole place is poorly maintained and very cluttered and the food is good but very ordinary. The people are very nice until you try to open a window or draw a curtain to bring in some light and air. Or ask for your faucet... More

I stayed in the Bamboo room this past week and I must say that I haven't enjoyed a good night's sleep in a very long time as I did in that room. It rated 98% sleep on my FitBit. Can;t beat that. Gibson House has a most relaxing and friendly atmosphere that only added to this enjoyable sojourn. Thank you... More

We hadn't stayed at the Gibson House since Marty and Suzie bought it and were curious to see how the new owners are doing. It is still a great place to stay, comfortable rooms and superlative b'fast! This is one of the oldest houses in the Upper Valley so in some respects it seems a bit tired and in need... More

Enjoyed teaching my pastel and oil workshop at the Gibson House. Susan and Marty are gracious helpful and provide wonderful breakfasts and lunches. Lovely, big clean rooms and a great area! I did not stay during my workshop because I live near, but my students liked the rooms they had and the ones I saw were really nice.
