Most of the reviews for this place are perfect, but I didn't want to get my hopes too high just in case the reviews were inflated. Trust me, they aren't! I took a birthday trip here with some friends, and even though we are all young adults, we did not feel out of place. This bed and breakfast offers a...

My wife and I spent a weekend at the Trumbull B&B. She was off cross-country skiing while I took a bread baking class at King Arthur Flour, about five miles away. The class was great and so was the Trumbull House. The inn keeper and her daughter had excellent suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. The rooms were furnished...

Thanks for your lovely review! We look forward to seeing you again, and we have just lowered the rate on King Arthur bookings to a flat 20% discount - mid-week or weekend. So hurry back! Sadly there's not a lot of snow for your wife to enjoy right now, but there are plenty of hiking trails. Again, thanks for the...

Hillary was such an exceptionally kind host, even though some travel snags made us troublesome guests. The house is idyllic, and the rooms are large and comfortable. Perfect location for driving to any of the beautiful ways to spend time in the Hanover Area. She was so accommodating too, lighting us a fire at night to keep is warm. And...

Let me start by addressing prior critical reviews. There is a difference between hotels and B&Bs. If you want to arrive at any hour and have a desk clerk available, get a hotel room. If you expect a full staff at your disposal, get a hotel room. If you want a continental breakfast where you can sit alone, get a...

The Trumbull House is a very comfortable, well appointed B & B. Delicious breakfasts were prepared every morning. The accommodations were extremely comfortable, with several communal rooms, as well as beautiful grounds with access to hiking trails for those who want to hike. Margaret is a wonderful innkeeper. We have stayed at many B & B s, and this one...

I've stayed here often, each visit reminding me of how unique The Trumbull House is. Most notably, not only will Hilary or Margaret prepare breakfast at any time you like, they will cook exactly what you wish, all made from the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients. Yes, the rooms are warm and welcoming; the quiet, open, country surround graced with a rushing...

We stayed with another couple at Trumbull House while the two ladies took baking classes at King Arthur Flour in Norwich, VT. We had two charming rooms, and enjoyed the public spaces as well. The property is lovely, we walked in the local woods, and on the road. Breakfast was delicious and they even incorporated the bread I baked into...

This B&B is wonderful, the owners were super friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious! We stayed for 3 nights, and tried all the different breakfast options - all were delicious - we especially loved the home-made scones and muffins that were baked fresh every morning. We stayed in the yellow room - the bed was very comfortable and the...

My wife and I stayed here for a night on the 28 April 2015. We had pre-booked, but were passing through the area as part of a road trip through New England. We arrived late in the afternoon. The home is beautifully presented and stands out from the road among the green hills, mirror-like pond/swimming pool, white garden furniture, and...
