We stayed here for one night, the ladies on reception were really friendly and we were met with warmth. The inn has a very genuine feel to it, which I loved. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything you needed, the carpet was obviously new and very soft, unfortunately the bed was a little uncomfortable. We did eat... More

Love this place!!! Quaint New England ambience. We come back every year!! Early American antiques throughout the hotel. Wonderful Front Desk staff -- very warm, welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend for a stay!!

Very nice place stayed for 3 nights found it to centrally located. We also found them to be very accomodating we had a small problem with our room that was no fault of theirs and they relocated us to another room no questions asked

Just stayed there one night on the way back to Boston. What a wonderful old place full of tradition. A great large bar area. Room was clean and pleasant and cool. In the restaurant was fabulous. Some of the best food we had a New England. Diane my sister had two lobsters for $20 and all the trimmings what a... More

Great alternative from staying right on Hampton beach, which is only 5 minutes away, saved us money too. This is a quiet Inn with old charm, (President and Mrs. Eishenhower had stayed here) adding to its history. The tavern and restaurant are connected to the Inn making it so easy to stay in and have dinner and drinks and not... More

I was in New Hampshire visiting my kid at college. I had an extra day and I wanted to check out the NH beach life. I searched on Trip advisor and found Lamies. I did a cold call to Lamies for a room. They had a room it was a Tuesday night. I went to the beach which was only... More

The building appeared to be a structure with different additions. The Old Salt Tavern was the core and appeared to be the original part of the building. In the evening the Tavern was crowded with wait lines. The lobby of the Inn is small. Be aware that room prices increase about 9% for weekend nights (we were there two nights).... More

I have never had clam chowder as good as this. Our server Erica helped us through the extensive menu. We were tired and just wanted a light dinner. We started off with onion rings that were not greasy, lightly fried, and sumptuous. My main course was a lobster salad with as much lobster as one would get on a lobster... More

We've stayed at Lamie's many times and have never been disappointed. The staff is always so helpful and welcoming, and the accommodations always so comfortable. It's a place we always return to! The Sunday Brunch is the best we have ever enjoyed, so book a stay at Lamie's and enjoy the great food at the "Old Salt." A & P... More
