From the first phone call for reservations all way to dessert and live entertainment- We are so glad we found the Town & Country. We enjoyed the clean and well appointed room. The pool and hot tub were super clean and set up very nicely. We enjoyed meeting several of the owner/operators as they made sure everyone was well fed and enjoying there stay. We highly recommend T&C if you are traveling the northern parts of the White mountains of New Hampshire!
Great place to stay for an ATV/Snowmobile adventure. They should put everyone with big trucks and off road machines in the back (mostly are there anyways) and put families with kids in the front and not allow the ATV’s in the front. We were stuck in the back on ground level and Our little guy (just 5) was kept up LATE because of people coming and going with loud machines, trucks hauling those machines as well as the guys being loud well into the night. He isn’t a softie either as we have our own motorcycles, ATV, boat & jetski but he was pretty scared and woken up on more than one occasion over the 3 night stay. Because it is an older building and sounds travel quite a bit, I would recommend families ask to be in the front (great views too) and not on ground level. Plenty of pro’s tho! Most importantly, The hotel room and indoor pool area were clean. The on site restaurant was good for dinner (prime rib) & had a nice breakfast too. We will definitely be back. …
The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is friendly. The biggest complaint I haw is they say they have an arcade but every time we have been there at least part of the games don’t work. If you are going to have an arcade for the kids please have working games. When the 3 driving games they have that our son loves are all broken it makes for a disappointed kid.
When we arrived at the inn, I found out that I had booked the incorrect (following) night. The front desk staff were very kind, found us another room, and did not charge us for the incorrect booking. Our room was clean and spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pool was amazing. We have definitely found our go-to place to stay in the Gorham region, and look forward to returning, hopefully soon!
We had a large room on the ground floor facing the mountains to the north. The view from the picture window was very nice. The bed was comfortable; the room was clean, and the wifi worked well. The inn is located in a much quieter area than competing Gorham motels. Don't miss the muffins at their restaurant in the morning. They were surprisingly good.
