Detailed Reviews
We had a large room on the ground floor facing the mountains to the north. The view from the picture window was very nice. The bed was comfortable; the room was clean, and the wifi worked well. The inn is located in a much quieter area than competing Gorham motels.
Don't miss the muffins at their restaurant in the morning. They were surprisingly good.

I booked this hotel five days before our arrival day in the peak of gorgeous New Hampshire foliage season. The price was surprisingly reasonable and the location is just fabulous.
I didn’t have high expectations because of recent negative reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was apparently recently renovated, so carpet was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the round table with chairs was a perfect place to have breakfast enjoying colorful view outside. The little refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine were very nice to have.
The bathroom is tiny, but very clean and the towels were decent.
Our dinner at the resort restaurant was nice. I had a Boston Haddock sandwich on a brioche with fries and my husband had chicken fingers with fries. Both meals very tasty and it was worth to ignore our healthy eating habits for one evening. Our waitress was so welcoming and nice!
I forgot my credit card at the restaurant and very nice young woman, who greeted us at the reception desk when we arrived, brought it back to our room. I really appreciate her attention and would love to give her well deserved credit, but unfortunately I don’t know her name.
We will be back for sure.

From the first phone call for reservations all way to dessert and live entertainment- We are so glad we found the Town & Country. We enjoyed the clean and well appointed room. The pool and hot tub were super clean and set up very nicely. We enjoyed meeting several of the owner/operators as they made sure everyone was well fed and enjoying there stay. We highly recommend T&C if you are traveling the northern parts of the White mountains of New Hampshire!

I travel alone with a small dog. The proprietors of this inn made it very safe and comfortable for me, with location of the room and nearby area to walk my dog.
The dining room experience was exceptional. Excellent dinner, service and view. From check-in, dining and check-out, the staff and waiters were very professional and friendly. I make a trip through here semi-annually and will stay at Town & Country Inn whenever possible. They have a new, loyal traveler in me.

+1
I found this place to be better than expected and that is always a good thing! Our room was huge. There was all the standard hotel amenities that we all expect. I didn't see any elevators but we were near the end and the stairs. We ate breakfast in the dining room. They offer a breakfast buffet for $15, all you can eat or you can order many options from the menu. We didn't eat here for dinner but after eating breakfast I wished we had. I would certainly stay here again. The staff at check in and check out were very good. Our waitress had a problem with another employee and was in tears at one point. I felt sorry for her, she was young and trying.

We were barely greeted by the receptionist as we arrived late morning. There were almost no cars but we were told our rooms weren’t ready. We highly doubted that but had to live with it. When we came back there was a very welcoming person at the desk later in the day. We were given rooms as far away from the main building as possible on the second floor…three flights to go up, no elevator and no one to help. We later found that the other side of the building was just two flights of stairs. The place was empty. It would have made more sense to put us on the first floor closer to the main building. That end of the building was very unkempt and in need of updating. On the other hand, the room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant and had a great waitress. The other difficulty with this hotel is that you have to drive everywhere. It’s really out of the way. If I come back, I’ll pick a hotel in town.

We was very disappointed. We have stayed here several times and have always been very happy. The first night our son went swimming and the chlorine was so bad in the pool he got a rash. House keeping was terrible, they pulled the covers up on one bed and didn’t touch the other. They left dirty clothes in the bathroom and didn’t replace any of the in room coffee supplies. The air conditioner would only run one cycle and then shut down. It is one of our son’s favorite motels. Hopefully just a fluke but very disappointed.

I booked a room at this hotel very very last minute. I drove into the parking lot and walked in to see if they had any vacancies. We had reservations at another place and when we drove into the parking lot my wife and I looked at each other and said no way are we staying there. It made Bates Motel look welcoming. I walked up to the front desk and the guy behind the desk was busy but very friendly. I asked if he had any rooms. He said he had a room with 2 queen size beds. I said I'll take it. When he told me the price, I couldn't believe how reasonable it was. My wife and I have a policy of not staying at places that have exterior doors. I was happy to hear and see how big this resort is and it has interior rooms. The room was very clean and the beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. Though we didn't eat on site, we did have some drinks in the bar and listened to a local bad. I have to say this hotel is probably in my top 5 of hotels I've ever stayed at.

This Inn was as advertised. Charming, comfortable, and with a welcoming staff. Our room was huge, the beds comfortable, and quiet. We had breakfast in the on site dining room and it was very tasty and the portions plentiful. Service was friendly and the food served piping hot. We would definitely stay her again if visiting the area.

Stayed here overnight while doing some fishing in the area on recommendation of my guide. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was adequate and clean, though get a room on side opposite of road - the traffic/truck noise was challenging. Dinner and breakfast were great. I did not use the pool but it looked nice. The exercise room annoyingly requires a separate key pass from the office. I'd stay again.

Hello, we require a person to be 21 to rent a guest room.
Thank you.
We had WiFi as well both in December/January and in April. What did the desk say when you called to inquire about the problem?
You can order breakfast or dinner from your room but you need to go to the dining room to pick it up.
Hi...all rooms have coffee makers and just let us know if you need a fridge and microwave upon making your reservation and we will have one in your room prior to your arrival. Irons and ironing boards are available at the front desk as well as extra coffee packets. Stephanie - Town and Country Inn and Resort.
