Whenever I travel from the south to NH I will only stay here! They are beyond amazing. The rooms are very clean, the staff are so helpful. They have been so amazing when I've had to ask for sheets late at night or if I need milk for my son they give it to me with no problems at all. They are always so happy to help me.
Have you ever been to Gorham NH? If not and you like 4 wheelers, (even if you don’t) good food, good company in a quiet mountain community then you gotta stop in to the Quality Inn and Suites on Main Street and say hello to Ramona at the front desk she will be happy to help you with a smile and a warm greeting! Do you have any questions about the place? Junior the Maintenance Engineer will be very friendly and happy to help! I didn’t get the name of our housekeeper but our room was extremely clean! They had a very nice continental breakfast with a great assortment of goodies! The motels is a very short distance to Pinkham Notch, Mount Washington auto road to the south and the 13 Mile woods to the north, and hiking trails abound! There is Scoggins general store across the street as well as an ice cream stand! You can’t go wrong if you check out the Quality Inn and Suites in Gorham New Hampshire! Things are open again up there so go visit and breathe the mountain air!…
Place was clean, front desk was amazing, housekeeping was very helpful, loved the pool and they had WAFFLES!!!! 1 out of 10 would stay again and again. Beautiful Town and tons of things to do. Close to ski areas and hiking. Thanks everyone.
I noticed a few days after my stay that there was an additional $500 charge on my card. I called and they said they thought it was a smoking charge but had no evidence to back it up. I quickly did a chargeback but still if I didn't notice they would have gotten my $500.
This is my first stay in this motel. The previous reviews was not very encouraging. However, I had some Choice Hotel points that I need to use or it’ll expire. So I thought I’ll use the point to stay 1 night. It was good enough I extended my stay for the 2nd night. (Again, using points) First thing first, this isn’t the Four Seasons. So one needs to have appropriate expectation. - What’s Good: It’s CLEAN! Bathroom was clean. This is very important. Hallway were clean. No strange smells despite earlier reviews. I ended up changing rooms due to other reasons. So I got a chance to see 2 rooms, both were clean. Room is good sized. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. I booked a “Kitchenette”. On the picture, it looks though it’s just an extra sink and a larger frig. But it turns out the cupboard above has utensils (plates, silverware, even a chef’s knife!), and a hot plate was under the sink. And it works! So instead of eating out, I was able to make a light fare for dinner. Saving the money and hassle of eating out (in a town of limited food choices) makes this an even more valuable motel for the price (ok, I didn’t pay out of pocket, but it “almost justify” the $115 AAA rate) - What’s just OK: Breakfast was nothing special. Waffles, microwaveable sausage sandwiches. The fruit bowl was empty though. - What’s Not so good: Wall are paper thin. So when the next room guest takes a shower, it sounds like a thunderstorm in my room! TV is small. And doesn’t have program info. It has many channels, it’s just you can’t figure out what’s on. Throw back to the last century. Hot tub had sand on the bottom. Not very appealing. - Nitpicking: The “kitchen” had no light. I had to take the desk light and put it on the counter to see what I’m cooking. And the “living room” area is entirely waste because it’s so dark you can barely see what you put on the table, never mind reading or doing work. I can’t even “fix” it like I did with the kitchen, as there’s no wall outlet to plug any light in. Overall, it’s a motel. The room and hallway is clean. It’s got the “normal” amenity expected in a motel. Price is inline with other motel in the same village. Good enough for me.…
One night at this motel. Room was adequate. Went to hot tub but it was closed and obviously not clean. Bottom of hot tub had visible debris. There was a woman talking to herself and taking 6 towels from pool area. It was obvious that woman was very high. I asked her where she was taking all those towels and she said back to her room. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet but just felt a bit shady. We will not be returning.
When we first walked into the lobby, we could smell marijuana in the hallway. Not something I want to smell let alone our 11 year old daughter. The internet was awful. Couldn’t get on it. No hot water the first night we stayed. No hot breakfast like the website says. Had to wait to get clean towels for a shower and none in the pool area. The gym is closed which was a letdown. We have been coming here for years under a different name…Royalty Inn and things were a lot better then. Not sure if we will be coming back!
Be careful. We stopped here thinking it was a Quality Inn but they put us in the Rodeway Inn. The sign out front is deceiving. Apparently, there are two motels here and The Quality Inn is not currently available. We did not have the best experience.
I booked a suite at this hotel in Gorham, NH as we were taking grandkids to Santa’s Village the next day. I was disgusted upon entering the room! The toilet and tub was dirty, there was a large dark spot on the sofa, and two very dark spots on the rug (about the size of a tennis ball). I did tell the receptionist, was told she’d pass on the complaint. The breakfast was typical continental, not great. The one thing that was good was the children enjoyed the large pool.
Stayed 2 nights as part if a loong trip. The first room smelled really bad and there were ants everywhere, hair in the shower and crumbs on the floor. Room no 2 was better: smelled like cinnamon but still dirty. Trash behind the dresser, crumbs and fingerprints ! Small town and we were passing through. But knowing ahead we would not have chosen this place.
