We booked a room here for one evening. The proprietors were very friendly and the rooms were very cozy. They are old fashioned in that they have flowered wallpaper on the walls and the decor is not modern, but they have everything you need and more--including a cozy gaslit fireplace in the corner and a flat screen tv. They even...

We reserved two rooms at the Storybook Inn through Booking.com. When we arrived around 2:00 PM, there were no cars and the office was dark and locked. We tried calling but there was no answer. We thought there was a mistake and that they were closed. Luckly we found another hotel after calling several properties since it was leaf peeping...

First of all, we will learn and improve from every bit of feedback, so although I know this guest is upset, her feedback is still respected and appreciated. It is understandable that this guest is giving a negative review, no one likes to make a mistake that costs them money, however this guest's facts are misleading. To clarify, she requested...

Due to a snafu, we did not have a reservation for the night. We called the Storybook in on the holiday weekend and she said that she could accommodate us. She informed us that the room was in the inn and not yet remodeled but we can check it out and see if it would work for us. When we...

I do remember you and again thank you for being adventurous and allowing us to accommodate you at the (not really ready) Inn room rather than turn you away! It is the one reason we have kept those rooms clean and made up, for emergencies such as yours. :) We look forward to hosting you again in the future.

Very close to story land and food. Clean. Nice lady working at the front desk. Nice play ground. Plenty of space for the kids to play. The place was full but did not look like it. Nice place to stay for a night or two.

I was very thankful that I did not let a few negative reviews on this site influence my decision. This is a very nice place to stay with perfect location to Storyland. The indoor pool was a nice amenity we all enjoyed. They have a very nice playground and BBQ area for your enjoyment. The staff was very friendly and...

Such a great motel! The women who greeted us at the front desk was so sweet and told us all about the area and the best places to go. The rooms were old fashioned with floorer wallpaper ( which we loved) and our room had a full bathroom with a tub and a flatscreen tv. We also had a balcony...

Our stay here started on the wrong foot. I called (from Canada - long distance) about 5 times, left messages, a few days later I received a phone call. (excuse - their AC was down and no one was in the office). Booked a room, said she'd email me a confirmation (especially after giving your Visa number over the phone,...

This 2016 season, the Storybook Inn & Suites is under new management. I am so very sorry that your every interaction last year was nothing short of horrendous. As we move forward with a huge renewal project, our top priorities are to revitalize our property and to treat our guests with respect and kindness. I will readily acknowledge that I...

We stayed only one night. It was a little overpriced for the room we gotten. Good size room but it had a musty odor. Always felt damp. And one of the locks on the window was broken. Bathroom was clean and plenty of towels. I am sure with a little updating the rooms vould be better.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at the Storybook Inn and Suites last year. We are now under new management and beginning a complete renewal of the property, which will take some time. For many rooms, the dampness and mustiness are the bulk of the problem. For others more extensive renovation is required. With this in...

We stayed here, & understood from other reviews that this was outdated. But thought we'd try it anyways. Now I know why they had vacancy on a busy fall weekend. The bathroom was dirty. I had to ask for towels, there were none. One of the other main reasons for choosing this place is it had an indoor pool. It...
