We stayed two nights at the Atwood B&B in the Webster room. The bed was comfortable, room was nice and loaded with character. Our only complaint was the bathroom... quite small and the tiny stall shower had some plumbing/flow issues, perhaps understandable with a 200 year old house. The hosts were very gracious and breakfast was marvelous, especially the much-discussed... More

The inn is very well done, breakfasts were superb......and what great homemade scones! The innkeepers were very accommodating, even carrying our heavy suitcase to the third floor for us. We would stay there again......Military discount......

The Maria Atwood Inn was a nice, comfortable B and B we recently stayed in while visiting friends. The accommodations were great. And our hosts were very hospitable. Delicious breakfast, complete with warm scones and great coffee.

The Maria Atwood is a wonderful B&B, with gracious hosts Sandi and Fred. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and each room has a private bath. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, serving a variety of food. The best part of the stay is the breakfast Sandi and Fred makes each morning. Make sure to save... More

My husband and I were guests at the Maria Atwood Inn this past weekend during a house hunting trip to New Hampshire. We stay in a lot of inns and bed and breakfasts – but the Maria Atwood was by far one of the nicest we have been! We knew that we would be arriving late on Thursday – and... More

The Maria Atwood is everything you would expect from a high end B&B. The proprietors (Sandy and Fred) are so welcoming and nice. I arrived very late and was treated to a luscious piece of blueberry cake and a glass of milk. My room (Merrimack) was incredible. Large and spacious, It had a fireplace and a couch. Very comfortable bed... More

Sandy and Fred were very gracious and hospitable! They made us feel like we were home the minute we walked in the door. The breakfast was lovely both mornings and the company was even better! Thank you for sharing your home, the history, and stories of the area with us. We enjoyed it very much! Thank you!

The Maria Atwood is a wonderful Inn. We have stayed here many times. On several New Year weekends friends, including ourselves, took over the Inn as well as the kitchen. Sandi and Fred are wonderful innkeepers. Easy access to route 93 and a good place to use as base to explore New Hampshire. Breakfast in the morning are very good.

I had the Merrimack Room on the second floor. Very spacious and clean! The owners (Sandy & Fred) couldn't have been more welcoming. I was given a hot cup of tea and cookies upon my very late check in by Sandy. The breakfast was large and included homemade scones--the best I have ever had. I have recommended this to my family...
