I had the opportunity to stay one night in this exceptional property. I concur with the others who have reviewed the Inn and given it a consistent Five Star rating. I was also excited to sample the food from their recently opened restaurant, Ambrose. Upon my arrival I was warmly greeted and shown to my room by Jaimie who was so very helpful during my stay. I stayed in the beautiful, recently renovated Phillips Suite. It was large and very nicely furnished, the bath/shower was exceptional with great water pressure and plenty hot water! I had dinner in the beautiful back garden which is nicely tucked away from the noises of the street. Ambrose features an interesting menu of "small plates", I settled on the Clams Bulhao and the Camarones al Ajillo, both of which were excellent and beautifully presented. This historic Inn has been lovingly restored by it's current owners and I will gladly return for the experience and for the food! Special THANK YOU to Jaime, Stanley and Sandra for making my stay so enjoyable!

I made a last-minute reservation here and the inn was extraordinary -- beautifully decorated, comfortable, immaculate, historic in its feel but outfitted with all the modern amenities. Friendly hosts and absolutely delicious food. Located right in the heart of a walkable downtown with plenty of restaurants and shops to explore, but when you step through the front door (or sit in the courtyard), you feel like you are miles away from it all. Delightful!

We made an impromptu stop to this inn and couldn’t have had a nicer stay! Jaime welcomed us and showed us our room, which was beautifully rustic and exquisitely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the town was beautiful. We decided to have dinner in house at the newly opened Ambrose tapas restaurant because we were tired from traveling. We sampled the Hummus, Filet, Shrimp and Tuna selections. Chef Stanley’s creations were beautiful, flavorful and delicious. Sandra provided kind and friendly service throughout the evening. We definitely hope to be back whenever we travel to/from Maine for a relaxed and welcoming stay. Well done!

Stayed with my husband for two nights in the Adams suite. Such a welcoming and wonderful atmosphere, Jaime was incredible. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and beyond comfortable. The library and accompanying coffee station were a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day. The location could not have been more perfect, we were able to walk around and explore all the main sites. Breakfast was delicious. A wonderful experience, we cannot wait to visit again!
