Detailed Reviews
We stayed at the Inn for a winter getaway, with a VIP package to Stone Mountain Arts Center to see the great blues musician Shemekia Copeland. From our arrival to departure, the hospitality offered was warm, attentive, and welcoming. Our hosts provided many thoughtful touches- a warm fire in the woodstove to gather around for a cocktail and wonderful breakfast. When we were ready to leave, our car battery had died, and Tim offered us his phone to use as we had no cell service. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed local skiing and snow shoeing. Will definitely visit again!

Just a lovely inn and so welcoming. Both Tim and Bobby are such gracious hosts. Every detail has been attended to and it is so comfortable you almost get the feeling that you are in your own home . Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. We look forward to our next visit!

We spent 3 nights here while chasing leaves in New England. Our room (#1) was spacious and comfortable. Tim was very welcoming. The place had a very homey feel with cookies in the evenings, soft drinks & coffee all day, and delicious made-to-order breakfasts each morning. We were not prepared for all the stairs. Our suite, while cozy, needed more light - particularly in the LR near the table. There is ample parking, but it is some distance from the doors to the property. We lucked out with the weather, but it would have been miserable loading & unloading luggage in the rain. The Inn is convenient to the Kanc and the 302, and we loved the hike up Foss Mtn recommended in the room's guidebook. The price was reasonable, and we'd recommend it if friends asked!

Needing to escape from home back in the summer time, a couple of months after the beginning of the pandemic, we wondered if we would feel comfortable staying at an inn. As soon as we arrived at the Inn at Crystal Lake we knew that we had nothing to worry about! All precautions are taken and very seriously, and the Inn is still as lovely and welcoming and charming as ever. The innkeepers are a delight, breakfast is delicious, and we look forward to the dining room being reopened again someday. This place is beautiful in all four seasons, too. Can’t recommend it enough.

We had only driven through this little town one other time before coming to stay.
A dear friend of mine asked us to go up with her and her boyfriend for the weekend . Why not , right !
Well , much to my delight this little town of Eaton and it’s amazing little hidden gem will now be a MUST . A home away from home .
Tim and Bobby the owners were generous, welcoming, and so down to earth.
The inn is very clean ( I was worried about my allergies ) but it was perfect . The room , I feel was hand picked by someone that knew me - it was more than perfect .
We floated on the Saco , had dinner in North Conway . Shopped , drove over the Kancamagus. The location is spot on , you have the Quaint small town country vibe but yet 10 minutes away you have North Conway and all that area that has to offer.
I’ll tell you, we’ve stayed in several hotels and Inn’s on the strip . I am simple , i don’t expect or need much but I was always disappointed .
(plus those were more money.)
The INN at Crystal lake was 101% spot on ❣️

We so enjoyed our stay at The Inn and look forward to returning again and again. The location is great. Close enough to North Conway but not in the hustle and bustle. The room was tastefully decorated, the bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were very soft. The hosts, Bobby and Tim are exceptional innkeepers. Their attention to detail, convenience and comfort was so appreciated. We loved the cinnamon raisin bread in the morning as a prelude to a delicious home cooked breakfast and the cookies that were left for a late evening snack. Tim is so personable, ready to give expert suggestions on the area's attractions and those off the beaten path. We were made to feel very special hope to visit again soon!

We chose the Inn at Crystal Lake to celebrate my BFs 60th bday. The weather was a mess with rain and snow so after doing some shopping in the nearby outlets in Conway, we headed back to the inn to relax. While the snow and wind raged outside, we were cozy and warm, sitting by the fire and enjoying delicious appetizers. Afterward, we retired to the media area to binge watch Queen's Gambit.
Tim couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating and our room, with an antique four-poster bed, was perfectly romantic. Tim and Bobby had thought of everything to make our stay perfect, from soft drinks in the fridge to cookies in the room (hmmm, sounds like I only care about food, lol). We had an awesome time and even my now over-the-hill boyfriend was impressed. We'll definitely be back!

We couldn’t have asked for a better home base. Great location for a lot of day trips to the Kanc or lakes or Conway. We stayed in the suite knowing we’d be there for 6 nights. Very comfortable bed, tv in bedroom as well as sitting room. Huge bathroom with double sinks and stall shower. Air if needed. Absolutely wonderful cooked to order breakfast each morning, everything from eggs to pancakes to homemade blueberry bread or banana walnut breads. Coffee/tea and homemade cookies available at all times. We had a refrigerator in room, stocked with sodas. We did both hikes listed in the room’s notebook, very detailed information. Small local beach on the lake a minute down the road, very convenient for a picnic lunch or dinner and a swim. And most of all, can’t say enough about the hosts, Tim was so pleasant and informative and easy to contact. We also attended a concert at the SMAC, all arrangements made by them, transportation as well. Nice evening and wonderful dinner there by the way!

Stayed here with some friends for presidents day weekend. We thought it would just be a place to sleep, but it was so much more! The Inn is extremely inviting, both visually and via the host interactions. We hit a bit of a timing snag and the keepers were quick to accomodate and make sure we felt welcome all the same. There was homemade breaksfast every morning (and cookies every night), excellent recommendations for dinner, and they even kept a fire going. Amazing place to relax after some winter hikes, cant say enough good things. Will be back next year!
