This bed and breakfast facility is truly unique, in a serene setting, with an extremely accommodating and helpful staff. The on site restaurant was charming, with a varied menu. The items we ordered were delicious. The morning breakfast was also tasty and filling, and a great start to the day. The location is "out of the way", but a short drive to Conway center, and a bit longer drive to Wolfboro center. Both offer distinct main streets with many shops to explore. My wife and I were a little surprised by the lack of a television in the room, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Besides the previous mentioned shopping, we enjoyed local hiking with outstanding views, identifying the on-site flora, and reading while outside on the peaceful grounds. The building we were in offered a very extensive library if you needed something to read. There is WIFI available if needed. The greatest compliment I can give is that my wife and I will be returning to Snowvillage Inn.…
Recently stayed at Snowvillage Inn for the first time and will definitely be going back. The Inn is just beautiful, inside and out. Our room was great, comfortable bed. Gorgeous views of the area, including Mount Washington from the dining room window. Delicious food. Accommodating, friendly innkeepers. Great hiking trails nearby as well as a nice drive into North Conway. Looking forward to our next trip there!
Our room was fabulous!! Clean and comfortable plus an awesome view. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast both mornings were awesome. Common area was nice to have as we had a large group staying in all of the buildings.
Love love loved our stay at Snowvillage Inn! So much so we're already looking to book another weekend. The inn is located in a quiet sleepy little town about 15 min from North Conway. Everything about this place was peaceful and relaxing. The views of Mt. Washington were amazing. There was 18" of freshly fallen snow the weekend we stayed which made the property all the more beautiful. Snowshoes were available to rent in the main house. We stayed in room 18 in the Chimney House and loved having the gas fireplace to relax by. There was a little fridge in the shared common room which was a nice surprise since we had brought some snacks to enjoy by the fire. Dinner at Max's Friday night was amazing. We had the lamb and the special stew. The lamb was honestly one of the best I've had. Cocktails were also delicious (and strong!). Complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise - normally I would expect just some pastries and maybe fruit. We were given an option of the egg dish of the day and a waffle/pancake dish of the day. Everything was delightful. We sat at the bar on our last night and spoke with both Kevin and Jen a bit and really enjoyed hearing the story of how the inn came to be. You can tell they genuinely love what they do. Can't wait to go back!…
We spent three nights at the Snowvillage Inn from Feb. 8-11. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and offered an upgrade to a fireplace room in the Chimney House. The room was very nice other than a rather cold bathroom. The gas fireplace was a nice touch and the common area felt like we had our own living room. Breakfast on all three mornings was outstanding and the views of Mt. Washington can’t be beat. We also snowshoed on the inn’s own well marked trails and the weather and views were spectacular. . Dinner on Thursday at Max’s was excellent, especially the oysters. Everything from our salad to dessert to a great and reasonable bottle of wine was top notch. On our last morning there, we were surprised at breakfast with a candle in my muffin for my 75th birthday and two glasses of champagne to celebrate our upcoming 50th wedding anniversary. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We look forward to spending more time there in the future.…
The rooms are clean and cozy. Even without a TV in the room with all the activities you will hardly have time to watch. Great views from several rooms. Beautiful ten acres . with great trails . The staff free full breakfast can't be beat. The staff was incredible. So very accommodating. Want a get away ? This is it!!!!
Spent New Years Eve weekend at the Snowvillage Inn and cannot say enough how great this place is! Jenn and Kev, the owners, were gracious and helpful - they even gave us sleds so we could get out into the snow! The food from Max's Restaurant was fantastic - we had a 5 course meal on New Years Eve that was outstanding, as were all the meals we had there. The room was comfy and very clean, the fireplace was roaring every night, the interiors were all done up for Christmas and were beautiful. Our only complaint (and it had nothing to do with the Inn at all) was that we couldn't see the amazing view from our room because it was so warm and foggy. We even did a twilight snowshoe trip up a local trail on New Years night. Fantastic. We told them we will have to come back to see the mountains!…
After having a fabulous dinner in early September we booked 3 nights for Christmas. Our room had a spectacular view of the White Mountains. Mother nature cooperated with enough snow to snowshoe. Employees were attentive, the food was world class and we just loved the relaxed vibe
This was our second trip here, we love this place. The restaurant Max’s Tavern is always excellent. The bar makes great drinks, the lobby is so cozy and has an amazing fireplace and stunning views of the Presidential range. Jen and Kevin are great hosts and the company here is always enjoyable. We will be coming back year after year.
Had a lovely stay in Room #10 with a spectacular view of Mt. Washington. The room was charming and very clean. Mostly quiet even though it's a little above the dining room/bar area. Bathroom was large as was the shower. Jen was a terrific host and made our stay very fun! I highly recommend staying with Jen and Kevin when you are in the area. The food at Max's Pub was also very good.
