I booked a room for 10/7/16. I called to cancel on 10/3/16 (4 days notice). The girl who took my call sounded unsure and asked me to call in a few days to make sure it was cancelled. I called on 10/5/16 and was told the room was nonrefundable. I told her I had cancelled the room on Monday and...

We were looking to visit Conway to do some shopping. We've never been to Conway and we were also bringing our dog with us. I read some reviews and decided to give this place a try. We got an excellent rate and our room looked to be recently renovated and was VERY clean. We had a minor issue with WIFI...

well maintained older style motel..very clean, just don't look for upscale facilities, there is no hair dryer, kleenex,, iron or any of the things that you might find at a more modern motel. The staff is friendly & they have a great family area with fire pits & chairs, BBQ, & two large tree strung hammocks you can use. The...

My wife and I had a fine night here the other day as part of a dance event in nearby Fryeburg. It's an old-time roadside motel and in perfectly pleasant, clean condition. There was a large, delightful outdoor pool. Nice staff. Comfortable queen bed with good pillows. Thanks to the age of the place, the windows actually open, meaning we...

Comfortable, and clean. Rooms OK, not huge. Staff friendly. Breakfast included but very basic (bagels/cereal/coffee) but OK. Better than others I have stayed in Conway area. There is a pool that we didn't try, but looked OK. Good value at the time of year, a bit outside North Conway-which is not a bad thing.

Still a great value! Breakfast options are shrinking, but we usually hit Dunkin Donuts anyway. We always visit in July when river tubing or kayaking, so our experiences are always similar and summer based. Nice friendly local staff, near by river access (and a 2 minute walk to Sacobound.com rental/shuttle), an 8ft pool, and a nice firepit playground yard area....

Stayed for one night with my husband and toddler as we were headed to Storyland. Rooms are nothing fancy, two double beds, small seating area, and small bathroom area. Dated, yet cozy. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

My family and I occupied the three bedroom cottage. Our rooms were perfect, ac and fans. Bathroom was excellent. When we asked for additional towels, we were given them promptly. This place was perfect for my five grandchildren. Besides Storyland being not too far, Saco River Lodge had a playground and pool. the weather was very hot and sticky the...

First off the reviews you see of this place that are negative, throw them out of your head! This place is magnificent. I have come here many times in the past and again I was very happy that I decided to stay here and not in noisy North Conway. We were checked in by Emma and she was so helpful...
