The breakfast alone is worth the stay. You can be sure that if Sandra says it is gluten free then it is. I had french toast for the first time in years, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The rooms in the house itself are lovely. I stayed in the garden suite with a group of conference attendees. The garden suite... More

I would describe the H.W.H as a home away from home. The hospitality show to us by Sandra and her husband was warm and inviting. Decorated with an eye to detail. Breakfast was scrumptious!! Beautiful!

The house was lovely and so was our hostess Sandra. She prepared beautiful breakfasts and eagerly provided sightseeing and dining tips. We were very pleased with those. The house and room were well equipped. We appreciated self-serve coffee and snacks at any hour, and the guest refrigerator. The only negative was the busy street, which could be noisy. But our... We're so glad that you has a positive experience at our establishment. For future reference we do have many rooms that are not adjacent to the street, a white-noise machine, and ear plugs in all rooms for any guests who might be light sleepers. More

Sandra keeps an immaculate and lovely B&B and serves delicious breakfasts. We stayed here while visiting our daughter and family who rent a house on Newfound Lake. We were very happy with our choice. The beds were very comfortable and the room large. The bathroom had everything you could want. The only negative I can possibly think of is that... More

I'm so happy that you enjoyed your stay. Just so you know, the storm windows are triple-track windows that slide up and the screens slide down - I'd be happy to show you how to open them next time you visit. We keep them down to provide extra insulation and aid with keeping the rooms cool in the hot summer... More

As soon as we pulled up we knew we would be happy with our choice. Sandra and her husband have created a beautifully decorated B&B. The rooms are immaculate and all her little touches make it so comfortable. The breakfasts were the best meals of our trip, I'm missing the scones already! We would definitely return !

I have nothing to compare to, but my boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at the Whipple. We stayed in the Sewing Room, and it was clean and beautifully decorated. I'd go back in a heartbeat. The food was amazing, and Sandra was extremely gracious and accommodating. I'd give 5 stars, but as I said, I have nothing else... More

HWH is a charming B&B. My room was spacious and elegantly decorated, made me feel I was visiting an affluent friend. The proprietor, Sandra, is a charming lady, who makes you feel very welcome, and btw, serves an excellent breakfast. My only regret is I was staying just one night. I would strongly recommend HWH.

This house is a superbly restored historical home that is also a great B & B. We were treated with exceptional hospitality and service. Our room was nicely decorated with period furniture and decorative items. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is in a "quiet" area of New Hampshire that we love(don't tell anyone). Also close to great... More

We enjoyed our two nights here. The breakfast was excellent, and the scones and pancakes were heavenly. Sandra, the owner of the Whipple House, was really helpful, and passionate about her job. And the location is great. We did several hikes in the surrounding areas.

The location of the Henry Whipple House is excellent for access to Bristol and surrounding areas. We had 2 rooms on the second floor--both very clean and comfortable. The whole house, including the guest rooms have character and charm. And the breakfast--what a luxury. Excellent food and conversation. Highly recommend and if you are not sure what room is right...
