We stayed there in October when leaves were still in color. The corner room was charming, the food was very good, a cozy bar, and right across from the lake! Very nice! Although having a corner room with a view of the lake meant a private bath across the way, they provided bathrobes! Would stay there again.

We ate once again at the Inn on Newfound Lake. It is always a good experience. The food was terrific; three had the Autumn Chicken, one salmon, one scallops and one venison. All enjoyed their meals. Giving a 4 instead of a 5, because they were short-staffed and service reflected this to a slight degree. Not a major complaint, however.

I just had the pleasure of attending my friend's wedding at this beautiful inn. It is beautiful and rustic. Everything is done with elegance but not over the top. The food was amazing and Larry and his staff were attentive and friendly. The Inn, grounds and barns are so very beautiful. I plan on returning to visit the restaurant and... More

For the price we paid I expected a bit more. Because we brought our daughter we were told we had to have a room with an adjoining room for her which cost more. The rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny and not very clean. The continental breakfast was very sparse with just some cereal or bagels. I was... More

We had our wedding there at the end of August and we could not be happier. We only booked the venue in February of this year and everything went great despite the short planing time. We picked this place because we vacation at Newfound Lake all summer long. Living in New Jersey and going to weddings there, this is not... More

My husband and I recently stayed here for an on-site wedding. The location is beautiful, right across the street from Newfound Lake. The Inn grounds were very well maintained. The wedding was wonderful. I think the staff did a great job! The dinner at the wedding was delicious and the homemade pies were amazing! The rooms are very small and... More

So these are observations from a recent stay at the inn for a friends wedding 1. The managers belittle and talk down to the staff in front of the guests. This happened on multiple occasions while I was there. One one in front of the bride as we were setting up the reception area....last thing the bride needs to see... More

Classic country inn, comfortable bed, AC, nice tv room, fabulous front porch with nice views. The tavern serves a great drink and chicken parmigiana. The atmosphere is cozy, decorated beautifully. The gardens are manicured and peaceful. The private beach is across the way and has chaise lounges. The lake and beach are amazing. Thank you Larry!

I'm sorry but for a business to be catering to customers and trying to bring customers in, they will have to do a much much better job!!! There is never anyone around to help, you feel you have to figure everything out on your own, no direction. An amazingly rude owner (male) that was beyond rude. Did not have my... More

This is Inn has a great location! But for the price I would expect better service. We did stay when they were having a wedding they seemed a little overwhelmed. They were probably under staffed but again for the prices if you want to charge 4 star pricing then that should reflect with the quality and service and it should... More
