So these are observations from a recent stay at the inn for a friends wedding 1. The managers belittle and talk down to the staff in front of the guests. This happened on multiple occasions while I was there. One one in front of the bride as we were setting up the reception area....last thing the bride needs to see... More

Classic country inn, comfortable bed, AC, nice tv room, fabulous front porch with nice views. The tavern serves a great drink and chicken parmigiana. The atmosphere is cozy, decorated beautifully. The gardens are manicured and peaceful. The private beach is across the way and has chaise lounges. The lake and beach are amazing. Thank you Larry!

I'm sorry but for a business to be catering to customers and trying to bring customers in, they will have to do a much much better job!!! There is never anyone around to help, you feel you have to figure everything out on your own, no direction. An amazingly rude owner (male) that was beyond rude. Did not have my... More

This is Inn has a great location! But for the price I would expect better service. We did stay when they were having a wedding they seemed a little overwhelmed. They were probably under staffed but again for the prices if you want to charge 4 star pricing then that should reflect with the quality and service and it should... More

I can't speak for the inn, just for the restaurant, but for the restaurant I can say "don't bother". My first indication that this wasn't going to go well was when driving up to this impressive and beautiful inn to make reservations for dinner, the door was locked. There was a sign saying to ring the buzzer, which I did,... More

the inn is a beautiful place but not for the price customers have to pay a night to not have a tv and bathroom in their rooms, their meals they try to give you less for more money, and as far as Larry goes he is one of the most horrible human beings i've met in my life he talks... More

I stayed here while attending a wedding it is was fine for the occasion but it's not a place that I would return to. Some of the rooms do not have their own bathrooms so a trip down the hall is necessary. The room was clean but very dated and I felt the rates were steep. It would have been... More

My husband and I attended his brother's rehearsal dinner and wedding reception at the Inn. The rehearsal dinner was outside on the porch. Beautiful view, wonderful service and even better food! The wedding reception was in the barn behind the Inn. It was the most beautiful wedding I've ever attended! The atmosphere of the barn is indescribable and the food... More

A friend and I met for drinks at the Inn on Saturday night. The place was lit up like a Christmas Tree on steroids. Once I made it past the menagerie of lights and figures on the porch, I walked into a darkened reception area. It was covered with dolls and teddy bears - but no person. The effect was... More

I worked in the wedding industry for almost 4 years before I got out. The Inn on Newfound Lake, although very beautiful and charming is running one of the best scams in the book. When the bride and groom order an open bar they do not pay a flat fee like other places. The bartender(s) keep track of every drink... More
