My family and I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. The property is gorgeous and the location can’t be beat. We absolutely understand and respect changes in protocol due to COVID. However, these are my issues: - Coffee shop was closed, only 1 restaurant and bar open for entire property; they allowed people not staying on site to make restaurant reservations and use the bar. When they are operating on 50% capacity, I don’t think it’s right to do that. We were unable to get a table and we were staying there. - No complimentary coffee available in rooms or lobby for guests; I have never stayed at a place that does not offer complimentary coffee. I’m floored that at $400 per night they can’t offer morning coffee for guests when I get complimentary coffee at Comfort Inn! Summary: after spending $2000 in 3 days, I would have expected complimentary coffee in the morning. I also wish they let us know either on website or front desk of closed amenities. I don’t mind things were closed, but I wish they let us know. Communication is key. …
Took the grandkids for a ski trip. Bretton Woods is an awesome mountain for intermediate skiers! The trail conditions were excellent. The only issue we ran into was lower cost eating options for kids. The dinner at the Arms was $280- for 2 adults & 3 kids (the kids had Mac & cheese and penne pasta) 😳. Apparently a lot of local restaurants are closed Mon-Weds. Our room for 5 was great. 2 twins in an adjacent room w/door to our room. Queen and comfy roll away.
We stayed here for one night and the accommodations were very nice. Super clean and comfortable but please know all rooms are pet friendly but they say they do a deep clean after a pet in the room. My husband has severe allergies and asthma so I called ahead and spoke to a woman who said she would make a note of this that I requested a room that is NOT pet friendly. It was not communicated to us at that time of my phone call request with this woman that every room is pet friendly and it was not until we arrived that the gentleman at the desk told us all rooms could have pets in them. My husband did develope a cough and did have to take extra meds that night and we would choose to stay up at the main mount Washington hotel next time due to this complication.
The Inn has great location, it is cozy and the service is wonderful .Good and quiet room, very clean, nice view, Good temperature control in the room. Excellent service at the front desk. Possible improvements are the following. 1) To make a ski trail to Nordic center from the Inn. If you have to take a shuttle or your car from the Inn to the Nordic Center, it defeats the purpose of staying right in the resort, the point is that you don't need a car for commuting from your room to the Nordic Center 2) The Wi-Fi in the room on the 3d floor was somewhat OK, but sometimes interrupted, and in the evenings weak 3) The fitting sheet on the bed would suit the Inn of this class better than a flat sheet tucked under the mattress .4) Our room would need a new faucet in the bathroom and a night light.…
We stayed here for four days with our two teen age children for a holiday ski vacation. Our room had two bedrooms and a sitting area and nice bath. The parlor and wine bar downstairs had nice spaces to read or chat or play games in. We did all of these, though not at the same time! The small plates in the bar were good and not crazy expensive. Dinner and breakfast in the main dining room were pricey - but excellent food and service. We had intended to stay at the main lodge but really like the quieter inn. It was also a pleasant walk either up the road or through the woods on the path to the lodge, which we also enjoyed. Highly recommended!
