We stayed for 3 nights for the 4th of July weekend and it was extremely enjoyable! Peaceful & tranquil - The lodge is absolutely beautiful, the view and the grounds are stunning, and Mike and Carol are wonderful hosts! Cannot say enough about this place and look forward to going back again!

We love BML! We look forward to our 3 night stays here every year (our 15th visit). The snow was in great shape for a snowshoe hike down to the river on the BML property. Michael and Carol are such great hosts and are like family to us. We enjoyed seeing some other friends we met at previous BML visits. We have kept in touch with them and they try to schedule the same week as us, so we can go to dinners together and talk by the wood stove in the great room at night. Highly recommend BML!

Upon arrival we were greeted at the door by Carol, the proprietor, welcoming us to the lodge. We were given a brief rundown of the premises and Carol said if there was anything she could do to help make our stay pleasant, not to hesitate asking. The rooms were spacious and clean and the lodge nicely appointed. Beautiful view from the central sitting area of the surrounding mountains. Each morning Carol would whip up a tasty breakfast treat and engage us in a friendly conversation on local restaurants to consider and what to do in locally .There was always hot coffee available, along with a selection of premium teas, soda, and a water cooler. if your looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat, then the Bear Mountain Lodge is a good place for you to check out.

Thanks for the great review - it was my pleasure taking care of you this past weekend. You guys were a delight and sorry that Michael was away so he didn't get to meet you. Although when he's here I tend to be doing stuff behind the scenes more, so his being away gave me the chance to visit with you. I hope that you have a fabulous time on your upcoming trip and enjoy it as much as we did. And thanks for the recommendation on the Jackson restaurant, we'll hopefully be able to get over there in the coming months.

We booked at Bear Mountain Lodge for two nights over New Year’s Eve. The lodge was warm and inviting. Michael and Carol were welcoming and available for anything we needed. The location and views were spectacular...it helped that it was snowing during our entire stay! Bethlehem had a lot to offer and was close to mountain attractions. Breakfast exceeded our expectations! We will definitely return for hiking season and head back for New Years Eve next year.

Great rooms and excellent breakfast served. The log house and decor are truly NH living. Very friendly and accommodating host. No shoes in the house! Bring slippers. That’s one of the things that makes it great! It “makes” you relax and take in the wonderful views!
