My husband and I stayed at Bear Mountain Lodge for our sixth time this past weekend. We were married there and typically go back each March for our anniversary to stay in Wild Turkey, but decided to try out the new room, Snowy Owl, for a special July trip. Snowy Owl is a spa "room" (more like a suite!) with... More

This was our second stay at the Bear Mountain Lodge and to our surprise it was even better than the first (hard to believe!). This was an anniversary trip to celebrate our engagement a year ago. Upon arrival, Michael immediately remembered us and graciously offered to upgrade our room for the weekend. We stayed in their newest room on the... More

This is a log cabin style lodge that is beautiful. We stayed in the whitetail room. Very nice room with a very comfortable bed. The lodge is very nice. You can sit on the deck with your drink and enjoy the views. We also enjoyed playing billiards down stairs. The breakfast was very good. The hosts were very nice.

Where to begin! I wanted a relaxing weekend away and that's exactly what I got. The Lodge is absolutely stunning with breath taking views. Mike and Carol are wonderful. Every night Mike would make a fire, and every morning Carol makes the most amazing breakfast. I stayed 2 nights, my first morning our breakfast was a fruit cup with homemade... More

Just returned from our third stay at the BML and already looking to go back soon! The decor is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and the hosts so accommodating without being intrusive. We loved the breakfast creations and the cookies that were put out daily. Carol makes awesome Oatmeal raisin cookies, I honestly could have eaten the whole plate myself!... More

Carol and Michael have thought of every detail to make your stay at this Lodge extra special. They treat you like old friends and the breakfasts were excellent! What a special touch to have a warm plate of Carol's homemade cookies on the counter each afternoon. And Michael made a roaring fire for us outside at night that we could... More

My boyfriend and I wanted a quick little getaway to the White Mountain area of New Hampshire. We found the little gem on- line while looking for accomodations close to Mount Washington since we had planned to take the scenic cog railroad up to the top. I made my reservation on line, there were nice pictures of the Inn as... More

All innkeepers will tell you that they love their repeat guests. We've developed a bond and friendship with many guests, so much so that we get excited when we see their reservation come in. This is exactly how we feel about Priscilla and Judy who have been coming here for years; it is always our pleasure to have then in... More
