Stayed in a studio unit with Murphy bed and pullout couch. Beds comfortable. Plenty of room for the two of us. Very clean, protocols taken seriously. We were spaced far from others. Had takeout lunch at the Cafe - daily soup and steak and cheese sub. Both very good. Very friendly staff.

When we arrived, the concierge and front desk staff were super friendly and kind. We were disappointed with the room... it was sparse ( maybe due to COVID rules? ) but there was no information on the area, no information about tv, no clock... it did have a small Keurig machine with a used coffee pod and brown water in it. The bathroom was uncomfortably small and the room heater was so loud it woke the family up when it turned on. They did have a heated outdoor pool, which was nice. And the view from the room was very pretty. They did a good job keeping guests rooms separated a bit so we didn't have neighbors around us. That was nice. Finally, we were under the impression there would be breakfast provided.. I thought I remember reading that in some reviews online.. but on our way to get breakfast we were informed they only had food for purchase at the on site cafe ... extremely overpriced food considering how much we paid to stay in an unimpressive hotel room. My husband and I kept saying we were very thankful for the kind staff members, or the hotel would have been a complete bust. Their friendliness was the only thing keeping the review somewhat good here!

4 night stay. Super nice staff and good food at a great value at Black Diamond. All staff were nice and helpful. Pro's are you in White Mountains, and the pool was really nice and big. Not very crowded. Con's room was smaller than expected, supposedly can hold 6 people I wouldn't dare! Dated furniture, really banged up tables, window did not open, table with six chairs however if you opened refrigerator, or dish washer you would hit somebody in a chair, so kind of hard to actually have six people, it was tough with 5. Staff did not clean during visit (completely understandable and smart) , but that makes the experience less lux. Walls are paper thin, even though it was not crowded we heard every step the kids staying next door took as they went up and down the stairs, a lot. Given the lack of room cleaning, the dated room, closed game room and the lack of people I paid way too much for 4 nights.

Enjoyed our vacation. Diana's Bath waterfalls were beautiful, unfortunately Echo Lake was booked 10 days ahead. You can book it in line. Resort nice and clean swimming pool big enough. Steam room was closed to to the Covid. Everybody was wearing masks inside, most people had masks outdoors

First foray out after months of quarantine, we didn't know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel has done an excellent job of setting up for re-opening. Everything from sanitizing the bell carts between users to plenty of sanitizing stations all over the hotel. The room preparation was over the top, complete cleaning and sanitizing top to bottom but nothing was intrusive. A very comfortable experience.
