Who cares that the rooms are a little out dated, the staff here is incredible! We pulled in after a 700 mile drive today and upon parking to check in, someone hit our car before I got out and then sped off. The manager on duty saw the whole thing and stayed and filed a report with the police. She was so concerned for our well being. Another manager showed up and was also very comforting. An hour later we ended up in the restaurant and the operations manager comes to our table to apologize for what happened and takes care of our meal. Unbelievable customer service! It certainly wasn’t any fault of theirs. So great to see such caring people, seems like a rarity in today’s world. We will return!

Because of the eclipse, every single hotel/motel was full on Oct 13, 2023. This is one of two in town that has a full casino on site. Not much else to do in Winnemucca. Service was some of the best I've come across, especially in the restaurant. The downside is the restaurant is expensive. $16 for a french dip and $42 for a rib eye steak. I was seated, drink order taken, food order taken, and food delivered in less than 6 minutes, and the restaurant was full at 8 pm. Compare this to McDonald’s the next morning where it took 28 minutes to get my to-go order. Interior was nice and clean, especially based on what I paid ($135 including all taxes). Exterior could use paint. Didn't check out the pools. Still using those junk florescent bulbs which don't give out any light. LED bulbs please, especially in fixtures near the door! I ended up with a pet friendly room, even though I didn’t request one. If you have to spend the night in the middle of the Nevada desert, this casino has a good cost/benefit ratio.

We had a pretty nice room at the Winnemucca Inn, but it showed its age. You could tell that it has not been updated for years. When we first got to the room, it was fairly cold so we tried to turn up the heat, but we got nothing but cold air. We called the front desk about it and to their credit, a maintenance person came to our room very quickly. We did have to move to another room, but the maintenance person took care of checking us out of the room and checking us into another room without us having to go to the front desk. Kudos for the maintenance person.

The whole reason we went here was the hot tub which wasn’t working but they didn’t bother to mention that when we paid online or checked into our room. There is no elevator to bring things upstairs. Once we arrived in the room the fan in the bathroom didn’t work and the shower head was stuck every hard.

This property was very smokey in every corner. Didn’t even try the restaurant because of the smoke. Our non smoking room stank but so did everywhere else. The staff was surly when asked any questions. Well kept building just needs some ventilation.

We stayed 1 night on our way back to California. We wanted to stay there because they had a casino, however there were no table games, just slot machines. We had dinner at the Garden Cafe which was very disappointing. The food was expensive and not good. Then they advertised having Starbucks coffee in room, but instead it was yucky coffee. We paid too much for the room. Very disappointed!

This was strictly a rest stop on a longer trip. It turned out better than expected. The room was large and functional, though it was pet-friendly and the carpet needs work or replacement. The casino restaurant was typical diner food, but good and so convenient.

Didn't stay there but gambled and ate. My roast beef sandwich was fabulous! Travis was our terrific shuttle driver with the Winnemucca Inn. He took great care of two older gals and one younger gal. After shopping, gambling and cocktailing Travis was there to successfully load and unload us! Thanks again Travis!

I wanted to like this hotel. The rooms dont smell like stale cigeretts like most casino hotels but the staff at 15 minutes after check out started banging on the door incesently while i am on a business call. Not fot for a few seconds, i thought i was going to be bounced from the room. I will NEVER stay here again!

We stayed one night in this hotel. Yet we were charged for two nights. They claim that I booked the hotel for the second night when I only booked it for one night. They refused to adjust the bill. Furthermore, they charged me for a pet occupancy. We do not have a pet.
