Easy access to this very clean and well run campground. The area is quiet if a bit on the outskirt of town, but in Winnemucca, nothing is too far from downtown. Spacious spots mostly level, although could use more shade. Really great showers and bathroom area. Laundry room on premises. Friendly staff and air-conditioned common room with tables and chairs if one wants to use, big TV and fire place. Pricing is reasonable for the amenities. Two thumbs up!!
50amp service and water/sewer.... that's about it. Weak cellular signal at the far side of town. No usable WiFi anywhere in the park. Very limited shade trees in the desert park. No cable TV, just the limited antenna stations from the middle of nowhere. Park is clean, but mostly local mining employee cabins. No pool area, even though reaches 100+ in the summer. Park is decent for a one night stay.
A very clean and well organized park. Wide and long spaces with plenty of room. This park will only get better as the trees grow and mature. We always like to explore and the downtown Winnemucca area was a sight to behold. Some major investment and more shopping experiences would really help.
Large newer RV Park. So many sites and lots of after hours noise, Some train noise as well. Mostly gravel with no grass except in a small dog area, If you want any WiFi -stay somewhere else. WiFi was terrible to non-existent - NOT USABLE -. No excuse for poor WiFi in this day and age for a new RV park! This park is a ways from downtown soooo be aware Winnemucca has no taxi, UBER, LYFT or other transportation services, so unless you have a toad - plan to eat local or in your rv.
We have stayed in this park many times, however what we notice is they have never upgraded the wifi, Its pretty worthless. Also the cable is worse. They used to have good cable but now only garbage channels. The spaces are long & there is plenty of room between sites but they are on a hill & most are very unlevel. It is a nice park. We will stay again when in the area.
Very easy check in, quite clean park. Nice large lighted dog park. Sites level & asphalt. Not too close with easy pull through. Showers were outstanding with lots of hot water, very clean. Good WiFi & cable. Site was so long we didn’t even unhook so we could leave before sunrise to get on highway sooner. Roads were very wide making pulling in & out a dream. Nice store area. ***Only negative was staff were not requiring people to wear their mask per state mandate when indoors. This to protect themselves & travelers health. (Lives could depend on it) I checked in masked then immediately left. We refused to shop in store due to people indoors without mask.
Nice paved, level spots. Located between I-80 and the railroad tracts but it was still quiet - not too much traffic noise. We didn’t use the showers or laundry so I can’t comment on that. This RV Park may be hot in the heat of the summer as it is a newer Park and has small trees. Very well maintained. We would stay here again.
We have stayed here 3 different times now. Large, clean, spacious sites. Pull throughs and back in's. The back in's are nicely angled so you don't back right up to your neighbor. Sites are easy to get into and level. Easy access to freeway but really no freeway noise. Gravel dog park. Wi-Fi is so so. Good restaurant at entrance.
We had planned on staying only one night but the resort was so nice and quiet we decided a second night was appropriate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sites are spacious and very clean. We will stay here again.
This RV park is fairly new, and quite beautiful. Very large too. A quiet place, level sites and some trees. Exceptional bathrooms and showers. Very clean. Covid 19 policy in place. Really nice laundry. Close to town. Really great staff!
