This is a comfortable place to stay for a modest price, especially if you don't need breakfast provided. Clean and well maintained, with a good bed and a quality TV with all the channels you could want.

Such a fun hotel. People were sitting outside their rooms reading and watching the sunset. It was like walking back in time. Friendly, laidback, simple! The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The bathroom had character. We loved it!

It's a modest motel on a side road that was cute and comfortable. Great place to stay on a a budget. Front desk guy was very friendly and helpful. As a solo traveller I felt safe there. They have a chair and small table in front of the room for some fresh air.

I am single woman traveling by myself ( in my 70’s). When I checked in the room rate was $65. My credit card was charged $95. Luckily I am notified by text of charges. Went to office for clarification. He said he mistakenly charged for 2 nights. That doesn’t add up! He did give me a credit. I have stayed there before. Since it has been sold it isn’t as clean. Although I had a Non smoking room the bed sheets smelled of tobacco smoke. Mold around shower. Will never stay there again. Buyer beware!

Was traveling and just needed something reasonably priced that was clean and quiet. This seemed to fit the bill. Pros- The cost. Used to be one could count on Casinos being the reasonably priced option yet I couldn't find anything that could match these folks. I often find it hard to find reviews on motels on this or other sites which is a shame as they are often as good or better overall than the hotel competition. We arrived late, were helped right away. Even with folks on either side it was quiet. It was cold out so we only used the heater which was quiet and on a thermostat. Everything was clean and there was a fridge with freezer that worked real well (always great for the roadtripper). Good wi-fi, T.V. good water pressure in the shower. Cons- While clean it took a bit for the cleaning product smell to dissipate. The beds were comfy but definitely older and a bit past their prime. The shower head must have been one of those water savers...it was an OK shower and I was happy to have it but it was not great. Bottom line-If friends were to be wanting a recommendation I would totally have them check this place out. It met all expectations which I see as a Win. If you are having one of those hotel/motel moments maybe it is time to give these folks a chance.

My room was clean, and the staff (two older Sikh brothers!) was friendly. It's located a couple of blocks off the main drag, so it is easy to access. Bed was comfortable. I didn't try the pool, but it did have one. An average budget motel.

We always check for bed bugs before unpacking when we pulled back the bed coverings we found cracker crumbs, hair and dirt on the sheets we transferred to another room which was very clean dated and the front door would not lock, walls are thin and you could hear the other guest's in there rooms, plus when I received my credit card bill I was charged an additional $11.20 more that the agreed charge, I don't understand how this hotel gets it great reviews. stayed in a single King Bed Room.

We stayed one night and were comfortable. The room was clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The walls are thin and you can easily hear your neighbors but luckily everyone settled down early and we slept well. We typically stay with best western when we travel but the rates for the property in winnemucca were too much so we decided to try something different. The Townhouse Motel is a budget motel but is adequate-clean and comfy.

This motel needs to be torn down, razed to the ground...they operate with 1950s built rooms and fixtures are age old...every thing in this motel is pre historic....better to avoid and find a different place in Winnemucca

This basic motel is a wonderful step back in time. It reminded me of places we used to stay on road trips as a kid with my family. Yes, it is old, but it is clean, well kept and comfortable. And the sheep motif is cute! A blast from the past! The room was larger than most. So was the refrigerator! It is located one block off the main street, so it is quieter, and right across the street is a laundromat. We noticed than while most of the motels on the main drag had vacancies, this was full, so make sure you book in advance. The owner is very nice and answered the bad reviews as well as the good, so that tells me he cares. Would definitely stay again if ever in Winnemucca. Thank you!
