The Sharon Motel is a small locally owned motel. The rooms were very clean, had comfortable beds, good towels and were very affordable. The office staff were very helpful and friendly. Check in was easy and fast. In the morning they provide complimentary coffee, tea and water. It was a very nice visit.
Great place for an overnight stay. Easy check-in and out. Friendly courteous staff. Comfortable beds. Certainly not modern by today's standard but serviceable. One drawback not enough outlets for all our modern electronic devices. Had to plug laptop into bath outlet to recharge battery.
This is one of those places that is easy to bypass. It is small and a bit off the beaten path in historic, old Wells, Nevada. I never stay in Wells because the few times I have stayed here, the experiences have not been good. Trip Advisor gave this little 12 room motel good ratings so I decided to give it a try. A great decision. The accommodations are spotless and comfortable. Hope, the manager, was a pleasure to work with. This little place is like the old motor court motels I stayed in as a youth in the 1950s in Nevada. Excellent value, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The trains came through three times during the night and I found the sounds of their passing were comforting and reminiscent of the tranquility of years past.
Excellent, excellent, excellent motel with all the comforts of home. Well maintained. Comfortable bed, tv, frig, microwave, wi-fi, and fresh hot coffee in the morning for your drive. Super friendly staff caters to all your needs. An unexpected gem.
We are tent camping, road tripping seniors. When we stop for a motel for a shower and a break from setting up camp, we don’t want to drive in to the bright lights, crowds and impersonal hotel staff that live two towns over. At Sharons in Wells Nevada, the home town friendly hospitality greets you the minute you open the office door. We got the last room late in the evening after driving lonely highway 30 from Jackson Wy to Wells Nevada, a long day of cattle ranches, a visit to Promontory National Railroad Historic Site and a picnic in the desert. Clean, affordable, comfortable bed, quiet, stress free AND Peet’s Major Dickinson coffee ready in the morning.
