Stayed 2 nights with family in 3 rooms. My room had no hot water the first night and no one to contact about the problem, had to wait until 9 AM to complain. All rooms show no pride of ownership as they are run down with holes in the carpet, walls, door's etc. Even the entryway and stairs were dirty. Won't... More

Anyone wanting the true feel of the old west should spend a night in the old hotels of the west, the Silver Queen is one the best. You get a little extra with this hotel as it is said to have ghosts that roam the hotel, we didn’t see any but maybe you will. The barber chair in the bathroom... More

A great owner, Connie, friendly and personable. No credit card required for a reservation and the rooms are clean, relatively quiet and comfortable with a good shower. The window opens and there is a ceiling fan on the 12 foot high ceiling, there are even transoms above the doors. The price is right and the service was great. Connie pours... More

Upon arrival we were informed that the room we had reserved was still being used by the owner and were given two rooms for the price of the first which made the stay even better. The rooms were perfect, small but kept the historical atmosphere of the town and the building itself intact. Very reasonable prices and perfect location in... More

You got to know what your getting in to when you stay here, think simplistic. we found our stay most pleasant. Incredible opportunity to stay in a place with so much history. O if the walls could talk. A few things to consider... if your looking for top notch accommodations don't stay here. Walls are thin and you can hear... More

We stopped in Virginia City during our trip thru Nevada and I had seen this hotel online so we decided to stop in to get a room. The rooms are small but comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. The lobby has a painting of the "Silver Queen" the dress made of real silver dollars - very interesting. Our... More

We had a fabulous visit to the Silver Queen last Saturday night. Ila and Clint (Elvis impersonator) were performing. They are a brilliant act and a must see if you are fortunate enough to catch them performing. Only hot and chili dogs (the best we have ever had) are available in the evening but that suited us fine. The bar... More

The wife and I stopped here after a disappointing time at Bucket of Blood Saloon across the street. We were asked to leave, in a very rude manner, because the bartender at bucket of blood didn't know how to make a drink (old fashion drink, read my other review on them for details). When we walked into the Silver Queens,... More

While you visit Virginia City, Nevada, don't miss going to the Silver Queen Hotel. It is a real trip to the past in this town that resembles the old west. Inside this hotel is a model of a woman which I believe is either 16 or 18 feet high with a dress made out of over 3200 silver dollars and... More

My son took a group of us ghost hunting in Virginia city and we stayed at the Silver Queen hotel, the most haunted hotel in Nevada. It was rather calm until about 3 am when I heat pounding my my door and no one was there. Also the blinds above the bed were closed when I went to sleep and... More
