We stayed over on a Sunday night and were the only people in the hotel. We met all 3 innkeepers (Alice, Stu & Dan), who could not have been nicer or friendlier. Great tip on the bar to visit in the Opera House - full of locals and very friendly. The Bullion Room was great - nice and quiet in... More

We couldn't have wished for a more positive experience. We were married in the Tahoe House and there is no denying that Dan and Ginger's above and beyond hospitality is a great part of what made our wedding day and stay at their hotel a perfect and beautiful memory. They immediately connected with us personally with a warm welcome and... More

I took about 4 minutes from we came in the door until we tought we where at home. And coming all the way from Norway that was a quick transformation. The owner met us, gave us the tour and the history of the hotel, and sat down with us while we had a drink. It was a bit cool that... More

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The rooms have been restored and have a charming historic feel. No closet space and the bed was kind of bouncy but I would defintely stay here again. The owners and staff were very engaging and helpful. There is no guarantee their blow dryers havent been lost or accidentally... More

We only stayed one night but it was so relaxing and comfortable. Right in town, a short walk to shops and restaurants. This is an old, original hotel and remodeled beautifully, it is warm and friendly and has that 1800's charm. Rooms have ensuites and very high quality, comfortable mattresses. The staff was great and very helpful. A really nice... More

If you ever had the desire to stay in a first class, fully restored, quaint little hotel, this should be your first choice. Dan and Ginger have really gone all out to make this a totally enjoyable place to stay. The smallest of details have been attended to and the hospitality is second to none. You will be able to... The restored inn is lovely and each room is very nicely done. When we arrived, I discovered I had a single bed (my fault) and son needed own bed. So host graciously offered the rear guest house at no extra charge. Very nice. We had a great stay, with my son playing the piano in the main room for a... More

We had a wonderful New Years in Virginia City. Our Room featured a balcony facing the main street below. The hotel is charming, updated, and comfortable. The owners went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable with extra blankets and towels, etc. The hotel is decorated beautifully and the location is perfect. We stayed for two days... More
