This was a lovely hotel with a very interesting history. It has been restored sympathetically but remains comfortable. We booked in unaware of the hotels reputation of being haunted until we reached our room on the 5th floor and found the plaque explaining the story of Red Lady. She didn't haunt us so I have no interesting stories. Coffee served... More

If you've always want to visit ghost towns and haunted mansions, this place is a gem. Historic mining town, and an historic Inn built in the early 1800s, completely restored in 2008 (or so).. this is a great nostalgic stop.. we stayed in the Dempsey Suite where Jack Dempsey stayed many years ago when he came here prior to his... Pitman cafe. A welcome pit stop for us. We had a quick lunch on our way through. Menu was fine for a small town and there were a few regulars in. Couldn't get wifi to work. Service by Robin was excellent. Food was prompt. Not cheap but not extortionate. Interesting gold rush artefacts.

We had a light supper at the bar, a delicious bowl of potato soup and a cold beer. They only have bottle beer. They will serve all the items here from the restaurant menu. I am just not fond of sitting in their restaurant. It's a fun historic hotel and bar to visit. The bar has three TV screens. There... More

We had the opportunity to stay at the Mizpah Hotel in Tonopah on the night of July 1, 2016. We were able to book a room with this establishment enroute to Tonopah. We were in crisis mode due to severe difficulties of our motorhome, and the impending death of my husband's father. It was a long drive, and we checked... More

My husband and I stayed a night at the Mizpah on our way home from vacation. From the moment we drove up, I knew I would not be disappointed! The hotel was beautifully restored and luxurious. The bed was cozy and comfortable, and I loved the coffee that was set out on each floor in the morning. We ate dinner... More

The hotel has an interesting history connecting it and the town of Tonopah to the great Goldrush. It was renovated quite recently in the style of the original hotel, but with a contemporary twist. Our room on the 5th floor and which faced on to the main through road, was very quiet. We had booked a King bedded room with... More

We booked this hotel for one night, as a stop over. We wish we had stayed longer. The hotel is stacked full of history, with staff members keen to share stories with you. We stayed in a comfortable room, in which the staff were very obliging, and set up an extra bed for our granddaughter. The decor in the bar... More

Love the cute little rooms!!! We stayed on the top floor. The "haunted" floor. Love the history of the hotel. Friendly service. Restaurant is good too, service was a little slow but it was a very busy day

Busy morning, but had great service from Robin. Delicious breakfast with a little of everything. Yummy food. Pancakes are light and tasty -- the size of a plate. Warm syrup, too. Crispy bacon, mmmm good!!
