Touring around the SW on a family holiday, we stopped over in Tonopah to break up the long drive from Tahoe to Kanab and managed to book a room at The Mizpah on the night they were holding their Halloween Party! The boys and I were very excited to be staying in a haunted hotel around Halloween and they couldn't...

Tonopah was a great find on our road trip from Las Vegas and we stayed there for a night and enjoyed every moment. The hotel was beautifully restored to its historical roots and was immaculate and authentic with immense attention to the smallest details. Looking around you knew you were staying in an exceptional little town and hotel steeped in...

We came in from Reno heading back to SE Arizona. A great warm welcome and an upgrade at no xtra charge. Sweet Tracy kissed our dog Joey, and welcomed our Kitty Kat, Opie. Thank you Mizpah for a nice break, halfway between Reno and Vegas! Don't miss this fine establishment! It is a destination shared! Rusty & Anne Sierra Vista,...

Ok you say, Tonopah in winter? I say Yes!!! We did a trip through Death Valley up to Tonopah for New Year's Eve 2017. Staying at the Mizpah Hotel and it's absolutely wonderful! There's a dusting of snow on the ground and it's cold. But the hotel is wonderful, warm and beautiful. So worth the drive from LA. Staff is...

Thank you, lagirl23! The Mizpah Hotel is, for me, a way to experience a period of time that we otherwise only get to read about. Tonopah in winter has its own kind of charm, and we're glad we had a chance to share that experience with you. We look forward to your return.

A great hotel located half way between Reno and Las Vegas. We stayed there a couple of nights last year, and enjoyed it then so decided to return on another trip to Las Vegas. Tonopah is about a 4 hour drive from Reno or Vegas, so makes for a short hop layover to enjoy a good meal and a good...

What a wonderful place to stay. I loved every thing about it, from the era ambiance to the bar. The room was quiet and done very well. The wedge salad at the bar was delicious, service was impeccable and what I liked most, there was coffee in the hall of the 2nd floor when I awakened. I could relax in...

You can feel the love of the owners in this classic restoration of a mining era classic. The old time feel combines with modern convenience to make this a wonderful place to stay. The antique furnishings combine with modern fixtures to be both evocative and comfortable.

Dear Tom! Thank you so much for your review. We approached the project with tremendous appreciation for the ingenuity and tenacity of the pioneers in 1900...hard to imagine the hardships they faced as they made their way through the Nevada desert. We have been blessed to honor the town, and the region, which was truly an important part of the...

Over 100 years old and full of antiques and architectural details both in the rooms and the common areas. Although old, the rooms were in good shape and very clean. The restaurant was good and very friendly, we got to meet other guests. Friendly staff. The hotel is the real deal.

My wife and I stayed here on two separate nights. First in room 303 and then in room 504 (The Lady in Red). On both occasions we found the hotel staff friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is well appointed, especially for a hotel that is over 100 years old. Free parking and free water in the room are both...
