I really didn't want to stay here but my friends insisted. The rooms are actually OK and don't have too much clown memorabilia in them. The beds were clean and it was the best priced hotel in Tonopah. A good stop before Vegas.

After getting pounded by the wind all day I rolled into tonopah looking for a good nights sleep and I found it at the clown motel.Nice bed quiet and 43 bucks for the night with a flat screen t.v..Where else can you find that without a 2 week in advance reservation

I am not a fan of clowns and whenever we have passed through Tonopah, just seeing the motel freaked me out. Well, last night, on our way home from a 5 week tenting trip, we decided to stay a night here. It is run down, and does need updating, but it is a different experience. Marlena was very nice when...

I was travelling alone and I think my friends all thought I was bonkers but clowns don't bother me at all. The staff were really friendly and helpful so couldn't rate them higher. Rooms are grim but that's what you expect really and it's somewhere I will always remember that's for sure!

Me and my boyfriend are travelling around America and we had wanted to include some random motels in the trip because they're so often featured in movies! This didn't disappoint. I loved the weird Clown theme and the location next to an early 1900s burial ground was pretty unique! The room itself was clean and tidy. Don't go if you're...

Of course, that depends on how you feel about clowns. I don't expect that many people with clown-phobia would be interested in staying here, anyway. You just need to manage your expectations. It's a 1980s roadside motel where someone put a colorful sign out front and 500 clowns in the lobby. It's old, it's inexpensive, the maintenance is not pristine....

We found the Clown Motel not what the story tellers make it out to be. Despite the motel is dated, it is very comfortable and clean. We ended up staying there 2 nights. If you have a phobia of clowns, that would be the only down fall. The cemetery does add a different prospective, but not creepy even at night....

This was one of those unusual places I had to stay in. I've stayed in a huge dog in Idaho, train carriage in Pennsylvania, lighthouse in Michigan and Wigwam in Arizona. So I had to stay in the Clown Motel! Service was friendly and the reception full of clowns was great! The room itself was old, yet it was large...

We had a late night check in. We were told they would leave the key by the door. We pulled up, got the key, turned around and then we saw it!!! There was a Porn video being filmed in the rooms. They had the room doors wide open, naked women walking around the parking lot. The night manager was out...
