The hotel was dated but ok. We got there and didn't notice till the next day that its also the place where probationers come to report and its sort of a truck stop. The casino was ok, It was hard to get a drink, the machines require a hand payout and since the guy who works the bar also handles... More

Older hotel but great hospitality. Cafe had good food and very reasonable pricing. Only con I can say would be the five small flights of stairs to the tonopah suite. Not ideal for families with little ones who can't walk. Do the waking mine tour and on your phone way you also see the famous goldfield hotel. Ohh scary especially... More

My husband and I did not plan to stop in Tonopah but circumstances found us there looking for a place to stay. I violated a cardinal rule and did not check the reviews on Tripadvisor. I will not speak to any amenities because they do not count when the rooms are not clean. The toilet was dirty and disgusting. The... More

Taking into consideration it is a very small town, the hotel was just OK. It is an old, historic building. The rooms were adequate. The hotel smelled of smoke, which was annoying for me. We ate at the cafe and it was also average. We were hungry around 10:00 pm, only to find out the cafe was closed & there... More

We arrived late in the day after a long drive. The desk clerk said they only had 1 room left a suite. we willingly shelled out the extra money to get off the road. When we got to our suite, we found 2 floor lamps, not working, one broken and without a bulb. There was also a continual noise going... More

If you are a cowboy and you are willing to rest your bones while riding towards your destination what do you expect? A clean bed, fresh sheets and a decent bathroom. Nothing more. And if you are a modern cowboy traveling with your family? You'd probably expect the same things. Well you will not find anything of this at this... More

Had to change rooms several times until we found a clean one. Beds were not clean, had 'hair' and body fluid stains on sheets, old food and candy wrappers stuck to carpet. In my opinion the housekeeping staff should be fired for allowing these rooms to be rented, the staff onsite knew exactly which employees were responsible for the rooms.... More

Stayed here for one night as I was driving across Nevada. Service was very friendly. They allow dogs. Room was clean and nice. For the price I have no complaints. The restaurant offered good breakfast. The lounge was also nice. I didn't eat dinner at the hotel, but went to the Tonopah Brewery for some good barbecue and great beer.

Located on the main route from Vegas to Lake Tahoe. The town is an old silver mining town and everything is decorated with period items from the glory day past. The hotel and casino show their age and is full of artifacts and pictures of the old mining days. Our room was dated but clean and comfortable. The Internet only... More

The hotel looks a bit dated from outside but it is great inside especially the rooms. We had a good night sleep in a nice modern room. Supermarket is next door and the hotel/casino has a large laundry room.
