Located on the main route from Vegas to Lake Tahoe. The town is an old silver mining town and everything is decorated with period items from the glory day past. The hotel and casino show their age and is full of artifacts and pictures of the old mining days. Our room was dated but clean and comfortable. The Internet only... More

The hotel looks a bit dated from outside but it is great inside especially the rooms. We had a good night sleep in a nice modern room. Supermarket is next door and the hotel/casino has a large laundry room.

Stopped to rest. No reservations! Found a room. Old, but clean. I think the price is a bit high though. There is a casino and shops. Lots of cool artifacts! Good customer service. A/C, fridge and coffee. We do see quite a few families with young kids. Like a family hotel!

We usually stay in Tonopah one night. We had been in their RV park (actually a parking lot), but had never been in the hotel. The casino and hallways have a Western saloon-like decor. Kinda cute. The rooms are clean and do not smell of smoke from the casino. Be aware that even though there is an elevator to the... More

The hotel over all was just OK. The casino in the hotel is very hokey. If you want to cash out or win anything you have to wait for an attendant to come and give you your money. You could be waiting a long time. The casino and the hotel are very smoky. The rooms are all non-smoking and don't... More

We spent the night at the Tonopah Station on the way to the Tioga Pass road and Yosemite NP. The hotel rooms were adequate for a night's stay, if worn a bit at the edges. We didn't eat in the cafe but their coffee was quite good. One thing about their supposed wi-fi; they claim that it's free, which it... More

My husband and I with out two kids stopped in here for the night on a long drive from AZ to OR. I have to say from the outside I was a little skeptical but we were really tired. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very nice and updated. The beds were super comfortable. The hotel is old west... More

The place is really sad looking outside and in the lobby. The dinky little Casino is really off putting. Having said that I was pleasantly surprised by the room,. It has been updated is is fresh and clean. The biggest negative, no pool.Go figure.

The large standing bear (named James) at the entrance indicates this hotel is a little different. It is dated but clean enough. The hallways are lined with treasures from this area's history. Every staff member from check in, casino, and restaurant was pleasant and courtesy. The restaurant was very good. The only drawback is that almost all the rooms on... More

I stayed one night, after having a little trouble finding it in the small town. There were billboards at every intersection, but no directions. I arrived early and had to wait a half hour until the two o'clock check in. The front desk personnel were very helpful and accommodating. Even inviting my dog to join me in the lobby while... More
