We phoned before leaving to see if they accepted dogs. Yes, there is a $10 fee. OK, I said, per dog? Per day? NO. Just $10 as long as you stay. WOW! We have 2 terriers and wanted to try it out. Here is the best part. You can bring your dog down to sit next to you at the... More

This is an older hotel half way between Vegas and Reno. You do have other choices in Tonopah but this hotel has history. It is like visiting a casino but having a built in museum as well. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean.

As other reviewers have stated, there aren't very many choices in the area and nothing for another 60 to 100 miles once you leave Tonopah. However, we have stayed at this property a few times and the customer service is always top notch! Good old fashioned hospitality without all of the "bling" that often comes with Nevada establishments. The casino... More

Nice enough room, nothing special but certainly adequate. The free WIFI worked, an unusual feature in a casino hotel, but was slightly cranky in that you had to log in every time you closed the lid, but it worked. The casino looks like it's going downhill so the hotel may follow, but as of now is just fine. A little... More

On our road trip, this place felt most like the kind of road trip road side motel. I mean I just got that kind of feeling of the place. The look of it is quite kitch but it just made the place more special. The room was of good size, quiet and clean. The bed was just okay. At least... More

Stopped here for some dinner on our way to Vegas. Service lacking. Chicken fajitas were not bad with lots of onions & peppers, skimpy on the chicken. The bowl of chili was plentiful, somewhat lacking in flavor. Side salad with the fajitas was mostly iceberg lettuce.

I didn't stay in the hotel, but did stop here to use the rest room and to eat at the restaurant. The bathroom (in the laundrymat) was clean and the restaurant had good food (I had an omelet) and excellently friendly and helpful service.

Good place to break up the Las Vegas to Reno drive. Great BBQ at the brewery down the street. Good restaurant on site. Even get to play for a free room. Roll the dice... if you get all the same numbers your room is free. What could be better?

Stay at the hotel was OK. Hotel is dated, interesting and quaint. Food was pretty good. The casino is just off the lobby so be prepared for the smoke smell. Has some cool history of the hotel and town. Room could definitely use some maintenance, paint, etc; bathroom sink drain was slow. Elevator only worked part time but only has a... More

Easy check in. Room was on 2nd floor. Took elevator up. Walked around the corner to go to our room. Of course we were one of the last ones. That's ok but then we saw the stairs. What a riot...5 sets of 6 stairs...with a landing between each one. Quite unique. Bar was great. Food was good. Beds were comfortable.... More
