My family and I have gone to The Ridge Tahoe for over a decade and enjoy every stay! There are many wonderful views and amenities in the rooms to enjoy. I always enjoy the spa after a long day skiing or hiking.

However in the south lake Tahoe area, where all the activity is, will provide you with more options for restaurants. Staying up the mountain makes restaurant choices much more inconvenient. So, my best recommendation is to stay in the in the village or town of Southlake Tahoe. Have a great time
