We’ve come three times and we love having our own cabin with it’s own kitchenette. It’s walking distance to shops, restaurants and casinos. It’s peaceful, and you don’t have the noises and hustle/bustle of busy crowded hotels. The owners and staff are especially considerate and friendly and always make you feel welcome. The bed was comfortable, and the electric fireplace is a cozy touch. The only thing that didn’t work was the wall heater in the bathroom, which can be very cold. I’m sure that’ll be fixed soon, and it wouldn’t deter us from staying in cabin 7 again. We will definitely be back and Doc's Cottages is always our first choice when we visit Tahoe.
The place was warm, cozy, peaceful and quiet. I will definitely go there again. If I could live in the cottage I would, I loved it that much! 😊 I will be recommending it to everyone I know who heads to Tahoe.
My husband and I spent the weekend at Docs. The cottages are cozy, the kitchenette is fully loaded with cooking utensils, plates and silverware. The staff are amazing! Especially Debbie who made sure we had everything we needed. Angie and Lloyd are so welcoming and will tell you some history about the place. Not to mention that you can walk to everything, great location. We will definitely be back!
My buddy and I have stayed at Doc's for one week during ski season for the past ten years, but are now too old (82) and banged up to ski any more, so we decided to keep going to Doc's in the fall, when we can enjoy the full beauty and fun of Tahoe. Throughout the years we have enjoyed every day of our stay. The owners, Lloyd and Angie, as well as their manager, Debbie, are great folks and are very attentive to all our needs, which fortunately are few. Great accommodations, and have all the comforts of any high-dollar condo or motel. I highly recommend Doc's as a great, and moderately priced place to stay. Very neat and clean. They have individual cabins, so there is total privacy, and parking at the front door. Also, they are very convenient to the gondolas and the shopping areas. They were built in the 30's so they are old, but refurbished and well maintained. I have recommended Doc's to several friends over the years who were very happy with their stay.…
These cute cottages are a short walk down to the beach for some quiet time with the lake, as well as a quick skip to the center of all the action - really couldn't ask for a better location! The room heater and electric fireplace kept the place very warm even in freezing temperatures. One of Doc's best features was the staff, who were extremely helpful and welcoming!
