The rooms for the tourists are nice. For monthlies, only a microwave and dishwasher, no oven to use. Elevator frequently gives out. Management not nice. Creepy place. Drug users throughout. Not a nice place.

My hubby and I went there because it was cheap and near to our vocational training school. The place looks run down on the inside with carpet missing and rude staff. The rooms are minimal and smell like dust. DO NOT TURN OFF THE LIGHT! The moment you do, the walls will literally crawl with nasty little roaches and the...

As I was was relocating to the Lake Tahoe area I looked for an extended stay until I found the area where I wanted to live. The location of this hotel is downtown, which if you like casinos is good, but in looking at this establishment, this is not the place you want to stay for a getaway and you...

There were cockroaches crawling on the walls and on the bed. There was no microwave in the entire hotel, but yet they sold...

I’m a student in photography and I happen to travel all over the US to take pictures of US Cities. I can’t afford great hotels, and if you are reading this I suppose that you are in the same condition if you are looking at the review of El Cortez. I stayed there during the Hot August Nights, back in...

Tonight I called the front desk to ask simple information and was greeted rudely by the front desk person. Apparently the hotel cannot transfer my call to the bar. My room was ill-equipped with a notepad or pen and the front desk person was too impatient to repeat the phone number a second time. After asking for the supervisor, the...
