This was my first visit. The customer service was above and beyond. From the waitstaff to the dealers, they made me feel welcomed. The 3 card poker dealer-JR was engaging and personable. I sat there waay longer than expected but I had a great time.

Hotel's Favorite
If I could scream from the roof of the GSR I would. I take service and amenities seriously. I have been a loyal patron of the Grand Sierra now for 5 plus years. I have always had a an exceptional experience while I visit. It does not like feel like a visit anymore , it just feels like my second home. I have the great honor of being assigned a host, her name is SUSIE MOORE. And Moore is the key word not punt intended, however , I know I am not a hard guest and very low maintenance, but she truly goes out of her way always to make sure My guests and myself are attended to, made comfortable and relaxed. Its not just kudos to Susie who I absolutely love , it is the rest of the amazing staff at the GSR who are guest focused and orientated. On the gaming floor I just love Sunni she is one of the floor managers and she is very genuine and so kind., knows us by name and always stops to visit, At the bar ( My favorite ) Jose and Peggy are simply the most professional and best bartender/ drink masters / mixologists I have every meet. Grand Sierra puts out a perfect product and experience in my humble perspective. I choose to come here as often as time allows, and if it was not for Susie, and her genuine, professional manner I would be lost. I admire the GSR and all that the entire staff does. Yes- the machines play with you yes- the rooms are spotless yes! the food venues are outstanding and never get dull I feel safe gaming here and spending time in the resort Spa treatments are amazing and the staff is sensational! Events and Concerts are always extremely thought out and fun! Do not even think twice about staying at another property in Reno, GSR has it all! Thank you GSR team for making this a wonderful place to visit.

Quick trip to Reno, I usually run up to Tahoe but ended up at the Pool all day. Definitely a resort pool and the craziness (messiness) that comes with that... but the bartender Larissa made it awesome. Even though it was slammed (looked stressful for the rest of the staff) she was attentive and cool. And she made the best Bloody Mary and margarita I’ve had in a long time. Not usually a fan of hotel pools, but it was a good time. If you’re at the GSR go see her!

First vacation this year- finally! My husband and I went to GSR just for a couple day getaway. We had some fun in the sun at the pool (a Vegas style resort) then hit a bucket of balls at the pond/driving range. Our host, Abby, is the best. We usual have last minute trips based on our schedule and she has always come through. When she sees us on the gaming floor, she stops by to say hello. Love her warm friendly personality! Thanks Abby. Played some Pai Gow with a dealer Cuong (like King Kong he says 🤣). Very friendly and a great dealer, but we got killed and didn’t stay long- we’re gonna get ya next time 😁. Played a lot of slots and video poker. We both love when servers remember us and our drinks! The two ladies that took care of us on Day shift were Rocky & Sandra as we usually stay in the same section to be with the same server during the day. My Malibu Rim and his scotch kept flowing. Thanks ladies. Later, after switching to beer, my husband ‘s (& son whenever he is with us) favorite server is Z. I’ll have another Modelo and he would like another Ultra please 🍺! Have not seen her since last year and she remembered what we drink- must be nice to be young!!!! Another positive encounter was with server Tina. Beautiful smile and prompt with the drinks. Props to both of them. Last but not least, had to stop by the High Limit section to see, An-An, the best bartender in the State! She was completely slammed on Saturday, so we came by on Sunday to say hi and play some at her bar. We asked her to make us her specialty and she made us each a couple drinks that were AWESOME!!! My Berry and Pear-fection. She is a Bartender Goddess! People- you Gotta stop by and see her when here! She introduced us to her manager, Paul, who chatted with us a while. Saw him later in the evening and he went out of his way to say hello. Excellent customer service. On graveyard, saw Jenny, a server we loved when we used to play at a different place (now closed). Haven’t seen her in 10 years and she remembered us (and see hasn’t AGED at all). Great hire by GSR! I think Matt is still the entire Food and Beverage manager and we want to say thank you for your wonderful staff. They can make or break a trip if the gambling goes sour! We stopped going to Tahoe (even though it’s closer) and never have to go to another club because everything is at GSR. Didn’t see a movie, but did go and get popcorn. We had tix for Viva Le Cirque and both felt it was entertaining. If you enjoy America’s Got Talent, you’ll like this show. Some time we HAVE to win to make the trip 10 stars, but as a casino/resort, we would put GSR up against any we have been to even in Las Vegas!

We weren’t staying at GSR, but we went for the steak house. Next time we’re in town, though, we’ll definitely stay there. It was so impressive. Not only was my cioppino probably the best I’ve ever had, but the resort had everything you can imagine. A night club, cirque show, bowling alley, escape rooms, movie theater, you name it! And to top it off, everyone we came in contact with was so friendly and helpful. Andrew at the gift shop was a delight, Tyler on the blackjack table had such fun, positive energy, and even remembered my name when I saw him again later in the evening, and Michael has the kindest smile and demeanor of any pit boss I’ve seen at any casino. The only downside of the night was that the cocktail waitresses seemed to vanish. It was impossible to get a drink without leaving the table. I’m not sure what happened there. Otherwise, it was an incredible experience and we can’t wait to go back. Thank you!
