Stayed three nights in Reno to attend the western art show. Have been to this hotel several times but this trip was different thanks to a great manager and staff. You will be surprised by how friendly and helpful everyone is here. The front desk staff are all very engaged in taking care of business. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. Although we didn't cook anything, it was nice to have a full-size refrig. during such hot weather to make sure we had plenty of ice and lots of cooled beverages. The hostess in the breakfast room (Connie) will start your day off with a smile and a warm greeting.
Customer service makes this hotel experience much more than just a place to stay.
There is a Fabulous bakery (Perrin)@ Rancharra, which is close enough to walk for more than pastries - their food, and service, is Very good.
Thank you for making our stay so comfortable! Definitely will return.

My family and I stayed here for 1 night for a quick overnight trip in Reno to visit relatives. We checked in late so there was only 1 staff person on duty to handle the front desk, answer phone calls, and fulfill housekeeping requests. I was told that the hotel went through a renovation which was completed over the summer. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed using the pool and jacuzzi during our stay. The breakfast offered was what we have come to expect at other Homewood Suites we have visited. I would stay at this hotel again when we are in the Reno area.

My wife and I spent last Sunday night at Homewood Suites in Reno, NV. We are Diamond members for last few years and have stayed at Hilton properties all over the world. We would like to express our recognition of your General Manger Marlon Salazar for his leadership and professionalism. When we checked in on Sunday the 9th and asked the desk clerk if we could extend our check out time on Monday the 10th because I was having a medical procedure at 8:30am the 10th. The desk clerk was more then accommodating for us.
While I was down getting coffee for my wife upstairs, Mr Salazar ( whom I didn't know was the General Manager and was talking with other guests as well as myself ) asked how our stay was and wanted to know if their was anything
he could do. I explained what I was having a medical procedure in about an hour and could not eat or drink.

To our surprise when we returned Mr. Salazar called us by name and said he had the kitchen staff save us
breakfast even though it was well past breakfast hours.
Needless to say we were most impressed and would like you to recognize his professionalism, management to have a great staff , and ability to put it altogether.

Shortly after checking in someone complained about noise. We moved rooms and somehow my mom forgot her pjs with $$$ in them in the first room, and they were not found or returned. When we checked out we accidentally forgot a cell phone... guess what? That wasn't found either. There's two possible conclusions here. 1) it's a magical hotel and things magically disappear or 2) their staff is taking the items and never reporting it to the front desk.
Housekeeping never picked up trash or even checked the room. Well at least not while we were there 🤷🏽‍♀️
We will NEVER stay here again.

This hotel is in a convenient location for the airport but without any flight noise. There are a couple of issues that lowered my rating. On check in the bathroom floor and bathtub had obvious hair dust and dirt. Given that we had already unpacked and the pandemic I chose not to ask for housekeeping. There were multiple stickers proclaiming their commitment to cleanliness but the state of the bathroom gave me pause. Due to the pandemic there was a continental breakfast but they ran out of items by 815 or so. I asked and was told no more food. Recommend asking for a room that does not face the highway to reduce noise.

Good size room with full kitchen.
Dirty bathroom there was stain on the toilet and seat, dirty floor.
Stained and torn sofa.
Cleaning service did not come at any time requested.who came to the room was a maintenance man.
Internet does not work.when i called reception and complaining about the dirt it would work it was very rude and said i was talking to my husband by phone message and asked me if i was a guest. Of course, if I'm calling from inside the room.

Will never stay at this hotel again. Reserved 1 bedroom king and completed early check-in from home. Arrived and was told it was unavailable since a prior visitor extended their stay. Was offered a studio. This is Valentine's weekend. So much for any intimacy with the kids in the same room. No offer to provide other equal accomondations some where. No offer to compensate for not being able to provide the room. Bedding on sofa bed looked like from Goodwill. Our grandson slept on top of it instead of using it. My wife ended up getting bitten by either fleas or dust mites while laying on floor. TV position is not good for either sofa or bed. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner unless you don't mind having to go begging for some from the front desk. Bring ear plugs for all the late night slamming of doors.

While the room was spacious (good size, high ceilings, etc.) and well equipped (kitchen, stove, fridge) we found leftover food in the kitchen sink, sticky counter tops, hair in the shower drain and a dirty bathroom floor. The room lacked smaller towels, no sponge for the sink, and the door kicks and sides/edges were not cleaned appropriately. Bed was much too soft (even for my wife that prefers soft). The front desk person (who I was impressed with) responded quickly and apologized, but why should she be cleaning this room??

One window was found open, the other was unlocked, and this was on the first floor on the less used side of building.

Staff was still wearing masks - really?? This is after the CDC announced that science does not support the use of masks and that they are ineffective. Why is Hilton not following science?? It is difficult to hear people speak and they are extremely unsanitary. Why is Hilton treating their employees this way?

My husband and I have been staying at the Homewood suites on Kietzke Lane in Reno, NV for several years now. because I am a patient of Dr James Forsythe at this Cancer Care Clinic just a few blocks away. We just returned form a 2 night stay at the Homewood suites and ,as usual, found everything to be in perfect condition. The beds are very comfortable . The room with the convenient kitchenette is very pleasant with a view of the snow covered Sierra Nevada mountains. I especially want to commend Leo, the manager and Carol Nicholson the director for making our stays as pleasant as possible under the covid 19 restrictions. When they say "Is there anything we can do to make you more comfortable?" They mean it.l We have stayed at other places in Reno over the years and this is our favorite.
