Stayed two night in June, 2022 in the Peppermill Tower. They warned us upon check-in that there was construction going on in that tower, but we never heard any noise. There was a minor problem on the first day in that they had turned off the water as part of the construction. They told us it would be on by 3:00, but was not back until about 3:30 or so. For this minor inconvenience, they refunded the resort fee for both nights, so we were not upset in the slightest. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, the property was clean throughout, the employees were friendly and helpful, the pool was great, they food options were varied and good, parking was free, and the parking garage was easy to get in and out of. Overall, we loved the Peppermill and would happily stay there again the next time we can make it back to Reno. …
I had a great time here with friends and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The bar tenders Jose and Conrado were awesome to talk. It’s rare you have bar staff in Casinos who treat you with respect and don’t see you as another pay out. I would definitely stay here again. -Steven
Absolutely beautiful hotel room! I was here for a 3 day conference on the property. The room, especially the bathroom, was the best part. The conference center needed a little TLC with a lot of burnt out lights and missing ceiling tiles. Maybe COVID had something to do with that. The casino smelled of smoke but I don’t gamble so I didn’t really go there. The restaurants, pool and fitness center were awesome! Unfortunately the area outside the resort was kind of dumpy and sketchy but if you stay in the resort, you’ll be safe.
The Peppermill in Reno does everything right. Every other resort in Nevada (especially in Las Vegas) should study them and follow their example. Here's a quick list of why I say that: 1. Check in was quick, easy, and there was no extra charge for checking in early(@1pm) 2. The spa suite room we booked was immaculately clean and well stocked with soaps, extra towels, sewing kit, and 2 bottles of water. The jetted tub and steam shower both worked well and we're a pleasure to use. The bed was comfortable and large although ridiculously tall. We're short people, we had to climb into it :D 3. There is a good selection of restaurants at various price ranges and all of the food we had was delicious. Even without reservations, the table wait was not long. 4. The casino is enormous and well stocked with a good mix of old and new slots. There are a good selection of table games although I wish the minimums were a little lower. The drink service in the casino was excellent. Also of note, is that the players club desk was always open and had helpful employees. If you have been to a Caesars property lately you know this is a rare occurrence. 5. The pool area is very nice, easy to get a chair, and had great drink service. There is a convenient spot to grab quick food as well. 6. Parking in the garage is an absolute pleasure. Parking is free, the garage is easy to navigate, easy to get in and out of, very clean, and there's plenty of spaces. This is a major point to me since I always rent a car and have been in many, many, casino parking garages. Summed up: great service, clean, reasonably priced, and very fun. I wish there were more direct flights to Reno because I'd start skipping my Vegas trips for the Peppermill if there were.…
Booked two night stay Thursday and Friday. One night in West Wing as Tuscany Suite was sold out first night. Second night in Tuscany suite. West Wing is a separate building from main property and a far walk. Tuscany suite was expansive with a spectacular pool view. Nice bars, restaurants so travelling off site is not necessary. Hotel is spotless.
Terrible experience! We booked a king patio. We called the front desk the morning before our arrival. We were told that we had a patio suite facing the pool with one king bed. When we arrived we were told that our room had two king beds and our patio faced a walkway, not the pool! I am quite sure that they gave our room to another guest. We went to our room and it was filthy! Not what you would expect for the $300 a night in addition to resort fees. We have been coming here for at least once a year for years. It’s sad that our go to spot has changed so drastically !
We had a great time. What a beautiful resort the art is amazing, the photo screens all over the resort where my favorite we had dinner at biscotti it was great are server Ian was amazing ,very personable and friendly he gets five star in are book.We also ate at Oceano best dinner I’ve had in awhile Anthony was great he was really busy ,And did a great job best crab cakes ever!Thank you ❤️ Brenda Kalalau .
Was in Reno for a conference at Peppermill. Cheep, junky, over the top, inauthentic Italianesque motif outside and in. The stale smell of cigarettes from decades-old casino habits permeates absolutely everywhere. Really an assault on the senses. Will not return. Ever.
Fabulous staff, free EV charging, updated and spotless rooms, as well as super conference facilities. Avoid getting the breakfast crescent at the deli next to the Biscotti restaurant it was very bland. Overall, though, a very positive space.
I stayed here for 7 nights attending a conference, in room (suite) 1811 of the Tuscany Tower. This had great views over the surrounding countryside/city and overlooked the pool area. The room was large, with a curtain separating a sitting area. There were 3 TVs. One in the bedroom area, one in the sitting area and one in the bathroom. There was plenty of storage space, There was also a fridge, safe and coffee machine (pods). The bed was massive and very comfortable. It would have easily slept 3 people. The bathroom was large, with two sinks and a spa bath. The shower room was spacious and there were two angled showerheads. Hot water was always quick to come through. Toiletries in the bathroom comprised the usual miniature bottles of shampoo, moisturiser, shower gel and conditioner. They had a lovely orange fragrance. Miniature soaps were also supplied. Towels were plentiful. The only criticism I would have of the room is the coffee maker made only one cup of coffee at a time. A second person would have had to wait for their cup. Air conditioning worked very effectively and was quiet. Rooms are mostly arranged in pairs but without direct connecting doors. Each pair is set in a small alcove with a central door that could be used to shut out the outside world if a large family or two couples had adjacent rooms. I experienced no noise from adjacent rooms. It was fascinating watching the people gambling in the casino but I was never tempted. What impressed me particularly about this hotel was they reception staff made every effort to find people rooms even though they were checking in early. I highly recommend this hotel.…
