Just fine as a low key BnB; to be expected in Panaca where there are no other lodging options. The BnB is a standard residential home adapted for the BnB lodging function notwithstanding the "cabin" out back. Note the photo on Carol's webpage is of the cabin, not the standard bedrooms. The BnB is nothing special but more then adequate.... More

I have very high expectations, but often settle for less. Such is the case here. In a B&B I am looking for "historic," "period furnishings," "elegant touches." None of this applies to this no frills lodge. But it's the only game in town (or for miles around for that matter). At home, I live far better than these accommodations. When... More

We submitted a reservation request late in the day for a late arrival and Carol met us outside and helped us get settled into the cabin. The cabin is very clean and well set up. Great night's rest for us and our 3 kids, followed by a great breakfast on our way out!

I've been wanting to do some exploring around Panaca, so this was the ideal place to stay. We weren't disappointed, clean, friendly and a good breakfast. We traveled with another couple and really enjoyed sitting out in the evening., the area is quiet and the Inn has quite a bit of property. We'll definitely be back. There is not a... More

We arrived late in the afternoon since the place is extremely remote in the Nevada desert. We left with mixed feelings of anger, frustration and sympathy. Anger because we booked the bungalow and were told "we had to give to someone else". The owners do not understand the concept of booking and reservations. Frustration because our daughters were relocated in... More

I awarded an excellent rating after considering the totality of the experience. The house is located in a very small town, in a modest neighborhood. There is very little commercial activity in Panaca. The parking was plentiful, but in mid-February needed a bit of gravel on the mud. There are no high end amenities. However, it's likely the best place... More

We stayed one night enroute to the Grand Canyon and really enjoyed our stay. We had the basement room and it was very cosy and comfortable. Pro's: Lots of parking, cute house, nicely furnished, very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and friendly host, Free WiFi Con's: It is in the middle of nowhere - the only place we could see... Admittedly, there aren't many places to stay in Panaca, but this was a great find. The main house has four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and there is also a separate cabin out back behind the main house. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and will fix you a terrific breakfast in the morning. The house itself and... More

We stayed here one night on our way to Great Basin National Park. The cabin was beautiful - really nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. This alone would have pleased us but on top of that we had a home made breakfast served up with fresh fruit and prepared in front of us. This really was an exceptional experience. I would... More

Really enjoyed the cabin, and found it to be great value for money. Highly recommended. Nice and quiet surroundings and fantastic home cooked breakfast! Pioche close by, is a nice town for dining out. It has a lot of history. Bring a cell phone as you probably will have to call Jenny in order to check in, as she and... More
