Detailed Reviews
Very clean standard accommodation with comforts of home amenities. Very small kitchen but has full size fridge and stove. Bedroom has very little room to walk around the bed but storage space is amazingly plentiful in the bedroom and hallway. Furnishings are in very good condition. Pool is not heated, but hot tub was perfect. Laundry room was also exceptionally clean and reasonable ($1.25 for each washer/ dryer...bring quarters)

Thank you kindly for the generous rating and review, and thank you for visiting. We hope you ate well while you were here too (based on that screen name). The pool is heated, by the way, however . It's typically around 87-88 degrees year round, even now in the colder months. Plus we have the retractable enclosure, so it's comfortable swimming every month of the year. Please visit again.

We stayed for 4 nights on our journey and the main reason was to take a day trip to Death Valley and Furnace Creek and all that came in between. Nice and clean and quiet. We were welcomed by the camp host after an hour of being here. Pahrump has all the places you need for a quick bite, dinner, or groceries. Smith's Gricery is same as our Kroger's and has a fuel station that uses the Kroger Fuel Rewards as does the store. 2 Casinos are behind the campground and nice. If in the area, definitely plan a stop here and relax.

Wow. What an incredible review. Thank you. We are a good mid-point, as you mentioned, for a lot of day trips - Death Valley, Tecopa, Shoshone, China Ranch, Beatty, Rhyolite, etc. Oh - and Las Vegas is only an hour away too. Thank you kindly for staying with us, and we're very glad you enjoyed your visit. Please come see us again!

We stayed at this park for the last week in May. Could not believe the growth of the town of Pahrump. 2017 population of 28,000 to over 54,000 in 2020. That marks the area and this RV park very progressive. The RV park is very well maintained, with several functions for guest to enjoy. Great swimming pool, and meeting buildings.

I booked this RV Park because of the $25 Passport America rate. The park was OK. It seemed a little worn. The park is gravel and on a slope. The hot tub was closed for renovation and on the last day after I got into the shower, they closed the washroom due to a water issue. All I got was cold water because they did not tell me of the problem until after my cold shower. For the money it was fine. But not special. Great location near the small casinos and the grocery store.

This is a place that you could definelity stay for a long period of time. They had lots of activities to fit everyone. The laundry facility was very clean. The staff was very helpful. It is close to everything you need and not that far from Death Valley and hot springs for you day trips.

The indoor pool was the perfect temperature. Friendly staff and friendly residence. Good location to see several National Wildlife refuges. Very clean restrooms and showers. I was surprised at how Pahrump has grown and there's lots of good shopping there

My daughter and I reserved a campsite for one week. Initially we loved the park, friendly people, wonderful amenities (swimming pool, clean showers/laundry, group activities, etc) and great neighbors. My daughter and I loved to walk the campground in the morning and evening ( beautiful sunrise and sunset views). Our third night we began our “sunset” walk with joy until we heard the “HECKLER” screaming profanities and lascivious remarks as we walked by HIS campsite trying to ignore him (he was obviously “messed up in the head”). We continued our walk and “shrugged it off” as if it was a “fluke” because Preffered RV Resort seemed so “nice”. BIG MISTAKE. After a few more minutes of walking around the looped campsites, we happened to look to the right (maybe a hundred feet) and saw this CREEPY GUY TURN...WALKING with a beer in his hand staring at us (GUESS WHAT... IT WAS THE SAME GUY WHO HECKLED US). He was following us as we walked... guess he was upset because we ignored him. He could not take his eyes off of us.. SO CREEPY. We immediately reported this to the gate keeper and one of the “big wigs” on the board and they looked at each other like they knew who it was. Nothing was done that night so my daughter and I left (by then it was dark and we had no place in mind to go). They gave us a full refund for the week (after several conversations with “park authorities”) but I don’t think anything was done to remove this PREDATOR. He’s obviously UNSTABLE but a paying customer. After all, it’s all about the money.

Ladies - we're very sorry for what you experienced here at the resort a few months back. We do not like anyone to be uncomfortable while visiting, and we sure do not condone the behavior you described. Please accept our sincere apologies. It's not dangerous here, though. I'm sorry to disagree, but it's not. You encountered an individual who had too much to drink. Unfortunately, those people pop up just about anywhere at times - at sporting events, concerts, family reunions, beaches, bars, and so on. We're sorry.

Preferred RV is the friendliest rv resort we have experienced in all our years of RVing. Besides all the activities in the resort, it is within walking distance of shopping, gambling, & restaurants. The resort itself has many facilities: a pool room, wood shop , card room, & spa. The winter climate and the all year swimming pool make it an ideal spot for snowbirds. We came in October and found it so nice we decided to stay 'til spring. Oh, yes, it is only sixty minutes from Las Vegas.

Stayed in April 2014 with a class A motor home. We paid $17 with Passport Am. Close enough to two casinos and stores to walk. Nice pool and spa. Stayed 2 extra days. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

It can be quite cool in February - 20's at night, maybe 50's at day. We're the only place in town with a covered pool with a new retractable enclosure, so if you enjoy swimming, you can do so all year long here. The public rate on the park model cabins is $63.45 with taxes and fees, any day of the week. We do not offer weekly rates or actively pursue long term rentals. And our phone: 775-727-4414.
I'm sorry, but we do not have anything that would fit the description of what you're looking for. We have cabins, but they're for short-term use, such as with a hotel room, and no monthly rates.
$33 a night, plus tax, any day of the week. Good Sam is 10% off and Passport America is 50% off.
