Well worth visiting Le Charme to make macaroons and drink cider. We made seven different varieties in the beautiful Normandy countryside. The chefs were welcoming and interesting. Will definitely visit again.

If you have a car and are looking for a base to discover the Rouen area then do not hesitate to book. The property is located about a 15-20 minute drive out of Rouen so you will need to be a little organised. The closest town is only 3.5 km away and has restaurants etc. The house is charming and...

A lovely, warm, comfortable house in beautiful surroundings, well situated for visiting Rouen and the surrounding area. We were made very welcome and given excellent suggestions for places to visit. And Hubert cooked us some of the best meals we have ever had anywhere. Brilliant.

A little B&B gem in Normandy, where the owner Hubert is an accomplished chef. We were greeted by his wife Isabelle and offered tea and coffee. Our beautiful room was one of three in the charming guesthouse, lovingly built by Hubert and his family in idyllic rural surroundings. We enjoyed a superb evening meal which was exquisitely presented. Without doubt,...

for whoever is looking for beauty, quietness and a feel of the country itself, this is a perfect place. personally, I love the green landscapes, I love the comfort of the B&B concept! a pond, a meadow, cows, this is Normandy, by all means....furthermore, the landlord is a "Chef" and unlike other B&B where the food is kind of "all...

The location of this place is outstanding, hidden between the hills around Rouen.  It's a comfortable location for both visiting the city and reaching the main sites across the northern part of Normandy.  Hubert is a very gentle and caring host. We stayed in the room located inside Hubert's house and the decor, as well as the furniture, were elegant...

On a cold wet November evening after a long journey north, Le Charme Normand was a warm welcome. Hubert prepared our supper and left us to relax by the open fire. The room was large and clean with a large comfortable bed. I think the previous reviews say everything else!

The location of this B&B is lovely, set in a tranquil rural area just 15 minutes from Rouen. Our room was modern and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Each night the hosts serve a gourmet meal which draws both guests and outside diners from afar. On the first of our two nights we enjoyed the restaurant like meal...

Have you ever heard of the term " Living like God in France " ? Well, go visit Le Charme Normand and you understand what I'm talking about. The host, Hubert, is a man passionate about 2 things : cooking and building. Whit that combination, he has build this B&B himself using the old fashioned building techniques and material recovered...

Hubert has created the perfect French countryside retreat and our stay far exceeded our expectations! We were greeted with cold drinks, maps to the area and precise directions to our activities. The rooms were beautiful, clean and outfitted with very comfortable beds and linens. We took a cooking class with Hubert and dined on the fruits of our labor. The...
