This is a great place to stay! The sites were spacious and level. The views spectacular of the mountains and mesa. Staff very accommodating and grounds well maintained. It's close to Mesquite but far enough away so no road noise. NICE AND quiet, especially at night. We hope to be back next year.
My first concern with this place was that upon check-in, I learned that they had retained my credit card number from my online reservation and so were able to charge my balance to the "the card on file." I think this is an unusual and potentially hazardous practice in this day and age. If you have a site on the front row, you have a beautiful view. Otherwise, the sites are all rock and not level, no shade. The "amenities" are minimal but well-kept. The on-site management personnel was on the snarky side.
Affordable, clean, and friendly. Solstice overlooks the city of Mesquite, very quiet, and green space to walk your dog(s). Free laundry, swimming pool and a rec area with a pool table (needs some attention), and an exercise room. The price is very reasonable. We stayed overnight and was very convenient off of I15.
This is the poorest maintained landscaping we have ever seen in an rv Park. They flood the weeds, wasting water, but don’t even mow! There is no protection from the wind because it is up on a hill, and there is no shade in any sites. The last time we stayed, they charged us twice. This time, a visiting granddaughter fell while riding her bike, and the campground host yelled at her rather than seeing if she was hurt. He had all three children sobbing. We were told we were breaking some kind of unwritten rule. Stay at Sun or the resort by the high school. At least they maintain the grounds.
Great views from this RV park on top of the hill. Can get windy later in the day as your site is very exposed. They are currently expanding the lower end of this park which is great because it's always full! We had a back-in with full hook ups for our 5th wheel trailer. Recommend making reservations ahead of time. Loved this RV park and will be back again.
