Pools were closed. Ice makers weren't working. Elevator in there garage was not working. Room was nice though. Things need to be operable when people stay there including handicap elevator. Would stay again if things are working.

They don't allow dogs except at RV park! This day and age no excuse. My dog is 16, I won't leave her. Place isn't worth staying, don't ever win any money there anyway! It's not that great, I've stayed much better places that accept dogs!

You need more table games. AVI isn't the same casino anymore. You stayed on Covid Lockdown too long. Drink prices are too high at the bars and too smokey in the casino. I go up to Laughlin now. Clean the air, Lower the drink prices and open up more tables and the players will come back.

We stay a few times a year. I get comps so we go here for a quick get away from Vegas. It has really improved over the years. Rooms are nice and clean and the staff is friendly. Food is good at both the cafe and the steak house (went there for my birthday). Gaming has gotten better with more newer games. We enjoyed the pool last year and they are in the process of renovating it and making an adult only pool, which I am looking forward to. It opens at the end of May, so I will go back in June. The beach on the Colorado is cool too,but i am not much of a river person. However, that said, the view is nice. Be sure to check out the store and gas station. During the day there is a lovely lady there selling the jewelry she made. Her work is awesome!

Room Tip: We love the location (away from the busy Laughlin area) and it isn't too pricey.

Average casino visit- nice casino floor with mostly newer games. Very few older machines which still exist in other casinos; Nice rooms, but my dresser set wasn't secured to the wall and fell into me while I had the drawers open and was unpacking. I struggled to keep it upright when items fell off the top and drawers/fridge fell out. I pinched my finger but otherwise seemed unhurt. I reported it to the front desk and was told maintenance would be by to assess, but they didn't come after about an hour, so I called back and spoke with the operator- then someone came about 10 minutes later. They tried securing it with wooden blocks at the base, but it still tipped forward when the drawers were opened. They ended up tying it to the back wall. It appeared to me the design of that dresser stand is flawed as it makes it forward heavy, especially on carpeting. It is very heavy- weighing between 100-200 pounds in my estimate. I could have been seriously injured!

I had a great trip with my daughter and dog. Check in was fast, Avi offers child care services after 5, and the Feathers restaurant was excellent. Check out was super easy since you do not need to go to the front desk.

No coffee maker in the rooms! What!!?? Went to the coffee shop only to find out it closes daily at 1pm? Cafe next to the coffee shop doesn't make hot mochas or lattes, just regular coffee. Thankful they had vanilla creamer. Went for a walk along the river. We stopped to smoke a cigarette and security approached us and asked if we were smoking marijuana. We answered no. Security informed us this casino is on reservation and marijuana smoke is not allowed. However, he only asked us if we were smoking marijuana. I felt stereotyped and weird as I was the only mixed person of color on the property. Staff was not very friendly either. Machines are tight. So I will do Avi a favor and never NEVER go back. I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

The hotel is a bit "old" and unfortunately you can smell the cigarette smoke relatively well but still fair for the price. The air conditioner is very noisy and you can't sleep with it on. They started the pool renovation at 06:45 in the morning and the pressure hammer was really loud, a total no go at that time.

I wish I had a good experience here, as I think it could be a good place to be with the river beach, pool, nice room, and other amenities and things to do, but my check in experience was in probably the worst I've ever had. I booked our room 4 months ago and chose this hotel specifically for the pool and amenities. I have 2 younger kids who love to swim. We got in later, around 8 pm, and I just happened to check their website during our travels to look for pool hours and saw that the pool was closed for renovations until May. At check in, I asked about the pool, and she confirmed it was closed. I informed her that it was never listed on their website when I booked 4 months ago, and I never received an email or update stating it was closed. I asked if there was anything else they could do for us as that was the main reason we chose this location. She looked very annoyed and asked the manager next to her to come over. I explained the same thing to her, not trying to be rude or anything, but just saying that it's pretty disappointing we didn't know about it. She said it's been listed on their website for months, but it for sure was not when I booked it. She said she wasn't going to do anything but said that maybe we should stay somewhere else then. I really wasn't asking for a free room or a large discount or anything, but thought that some type of gesture would have been fine. We were paying full price for not getting what we expected. I understand things need to get fixed, and it looks like their new pool will be very nice, but her immediate response to tell me I should maybe go somewhere else was shocking. I was ready to leave, but we were exhausted and just needed to sleep. We ended up staying just because it was too much of a hassle to move all our stuff again for another night, but we spent zero dollars anywhere on the property and went elsewhere for food and entertainment. Again, nice room, nice beach, pool looks like it will be nice, but could not come back in the future due to staff and management. Also, similar to all other casinos in the area, it is very smoky still in the casino, just an FYI. The room did not smell like smoke.
