Thank God I read reviews of this place on TripAdvisor before going. I made a reservation about 24 hours before arriving. I had little time to figure out the good/bad. Here's some tips: 1. Ask for the Paradise Tower. Those rooms are more modern and have been renovated more recently. 2. I was willing to pay a $15 "upgrade" for...

I arrived Sat around 10 pm and used the Diamond checking area. After waiting a bit (young woman was on phone) I was attended. My booking was a King Deluxe at Paradise tower.. The lady was not very friendly as I have seen in any Hilton (specially when you have Diamond status) and seems me that she was doing me...

The rooms were good for the money and recently refurbished. Unfortunately the location of the casino right at the bottom of the elevators allows all the smoke to rise into the corridors adjacent to the rooms. The casino was particularly smoky. The bar area was good for meeting people and the staff and service (especially Emma) were very good. Also...

Took 4 calls to their internet support . Laptop and two iOS devices (iPad and iPhone 7) would not connect. Even worse was they would disconnect the call and calling on In room line. Not a happy Diamond member currently. Typical useless support.

As soon as we got to the room and saw the condition, we got on our phones to book a different hotel and left. The carpet was dirty, it looked like someone had gnawed on the furniture, and there was paint peeling off the walls of the shower. Not good, and very surprising for a DoubleTree property!

I recently stayed here for some work meetings. My room was in the Paradise Tower, where I heard everything that happened outside, from the loud vehicles driving up and down the Las Vegas Boulevard to every siren on every emergency vehicle that went by to the people screaming on the New York New York roller coaster. Basically, there was no...

I visited the tropicana for the first time ever on thanksgiving weekend. I always wanted to visit one of the original old vegas hotels because the nostalgia and class of old vegas has slowly drifted away. With that being said there were definitely pros and cons to our stay. Please note I am giving an honest nonbias review of our...

Gold status used to offer a free breakfast. Now you can food credit or some extra points. Food credit ($26 per day) is probably better than the extra points (1000). And ask for the Paradise tower for a shorter walk in and out of the casino. Still a little run down but seems to be getting better. Better than average...

I was recently in Vegas for a meeting at the Tropicana. I appreciated that they let me check in early so I could get settled before the meeting. The rooms are nice - good Internet, ample amenities, comfortable furniture, nice tub and shower. Service was great, both at the front desk and for the meeting. And the food was really...

It was my first time going to vegas, my best friend and I decided to stay here. Mistake #1 we called it. When we got to the property and went to check in all we smelled was Smoke. The whole place reeks of it. Being an asthmatic that sent my attacks on over load. We got in late so tried...
