This is the worst Hilton hotel I have ever stayed. I booked four rooms, and when I checked in, I was told that four refrigerators would be provided, but one day later there was still one without a refrigerator. I just went to ask if I could help with this and the desk told me I would have to pay extra. At the same time, I was told that the room for Diamond members would have a refrigerator and a coffee machine, but I said my room did not have a coffee machine either. The counter told me that I would have to pay extra. So is there or is there not 🤬?
had a bungalow suite on main floor - beautiful room and very close to casino and pool. Our casino host, Gina, helped with reservations and amenities. Our room had coffee pot and refrigerator. We saw 3 shows - comedy shop, legends, and 3 Redneck Tenors. The 3 Redneck Tenor show was amazing! It was good to see that some of our favorite cocktail waitresses (Tracy is our favorite but all are very dedicated and cordial) are back at work and that more restaurant options are available since our April visit. Our room was cleaned perfectly daily. We have been coming to Tropicana for many years and only gamble there using the player's club cards. Gina makes us feel like valued customers and we are very thankful for her! We visited the pool daily and made reservations for pool chairs ahead of time. Very relaxing visit!…
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was okay. Server was awesome! The room had horrible odor and made us sick each morning. We were given a bungalow (even though I reserved a room in the tower). Having a balcony was nice! However, the bungalows are very outdated. The hallways to the bungalows are dingy and remote. Not a good feeling walking all the way back to room alone. Was alot longer walk to MGM convention center than we expected.
Homeless people was all over Tropicana , the room were nasty, front desk service were rude and so disrespectful, they couldn’t find our reservation, they over charge us, gave us a dirty ass room, very bad place to stay.
Sadly. I must report I was very disappointed in my recent two night stay at what I thought was going to be a wonderful vacation stay. The checkin was pathetic, the room was dirty, old, loud, needed a lot of maintenance repairs. Stay someplace else.
I would recommend not staying at this hotel. Many very bad reviews on other sites. don't know why reviews on this site are good. This property is being sold to Ballys. So they are not spending any $$$ to upgrade . Hilton has dropped the ball on this one. Diamond member get zero respect at this place.
We celebrate our 30 year anniversary here at Tropicana casino there was an excellent customers service, clean room, We watch all 3 show in the casino and great food at Robert Irvines restaurant. Thank you
I have to say if the company even is not in the Tropicana I will never want to go inside Tropicana hotel. This hotel is very old and stinks. I booked suite for my stay. The suite is old but the bed was very comfortable. My suit has steam room, sauna and jacuzzi in the room which I use everyday of my stay very nice feature. Overall this hotel is really old not much going on there. The restaurant is bad I have to go out to get better food.
I have stayed in this hotel several times previously because I like where it is positioned. This time I opted for a bungalow room which overlooked the pool area. the upside is that the area was very quiet and not too far from the street and transport. the downside was that my room was dreadfully dated and smelled of mould, the door didn't shut automatically (which is a concern if you are a single traveller as I was) and the wifi which forms part of the daily "resort" fees you pay does not work in this area. Luckily though, I could log onto the pool wifi most of the time. On top of that the wait for check-in has not improved since Covid and I waited more that half an hour when there were only four people in front of me in the line. My last whinge is the active "upselling" of rooms that routinely occurs at the front desk. I arrived at the hotel before standard checkin time and was told that my room would not be ready for s number of hours, however if I cared to pay another $25 a day I could have a room straight away. The room upgrade was supposedly one with a pool view (it was not) and as previously stated had other issues.…
I’m still here for 2 more full days and nights. The smell is sickening. The rooms do not get cooler than 75, I’ve had 2. The first room had toxic odor from the supposedly the bathtub being refinished. It made me physically Ill. They were kind enough to switch my room, but I was not allowed a bell cart on my own & had 15 min to move. The front desk is 10 min walk to any room in the towers. I have a constant migraine from the smoke smell. The window have NO CURTAINS!! Up at dawn every day. No keurigs, no mini fridges and the casino is so dated and sad. The pool is gross and all the doors and windows are covered in handprints. I honestly don’t know how a chain like Hilton allows their hotel in a place like Vegas to be so gross. Im here for work and will never return. You can stay at a designer hotel for $25 more a night. The Hilton brand should be ashamed…
