Spacious rooms, luxurious bathroom. Swimming pool closes too early, why? While Casino's open all night. Well situated at strip, near airport. Is smoking allowed in Casino? Doesn't have the grandeur of the better known places, but offers value for money.

This place is hit and miss. I've stayed here several times. The rooms are updated and are relatively nice. The biggest issue is the staff. Sometimes they are helpful, others they are rude. I like the craps table here though.

I stayed at the Tropicana on business a couple of weeks ago. I was staying at the property because it was a Hilton property, and with CES in town, I had very few options. I called the Tropicana before I arrived to ensure that I would have a nice stay. The people that I spoke with couldn't care any less,...

Not a very good vegas experience. No hot water in sink in room. Stayed in club tower walk to restaurants and casino was half a mile. Hotel clean and quite but probably because everyone else knows better then to stay there

Convention at Mandalay Bay. Tropicana is a great location at a great price. Service was great with very friendly staff. Nice food selection and Starbucks on-site. Spacious room was clean and relatively comfortable. The bed was a little bumpy/soft, but ok. Close to the Tram.

The hotel lacks the atmosphere to compete with more recent hotels on the strip. It looks old, does not have any of the charm and personality of its competitors. I just chose this hotel because of my HiltonPoints. Never again....

I should have trusted the reviews. The place has the worst smoke ventilation of any Las Vegas hotel we wandered through. There is no other way to get to rooms but through the smokey haze. It was around 800metres from our car park to room. Despite being Hhonors Diamond Status, we were not given any upgraded room. Not even a...

Being a Hilton Honors Diamond member couldn't salvage this stay. In fact, I might skip trying to use Hilton points in Vegas next time if this is Hilton's best option. We booked for three nights (and multiple rooms for guests), but now have a list of things that we wish we had known sooner. Maybe it will help others make...

Hotel rooms have been remodeled and are very nice. Casino is very very quiet. As with most things in Vegas these days drinks, food, etc. are way over priced but no worse than anywhere else. Very good location. Beds are a little firm for me and not as good as most Hilton group locations but once again, it's Vegas. Doormen...

The old Tropicana was purchased by Hilton/DoubleTree. Looks the same outside, but inside is newly remodeled. Service was pleasant, restaurants were good, and there's a 24 hour Starbucks. You can walk across the street to catch the monorail inside the MGM (or visit many other restaurants).
