We booked two nights here a week apart, on the fly, just before and just after Christmas. Both times it was the best hotel that we could get with our money on the strip with free parking and low resort fees. The warm chocolate chip cookies were an amazing and delicious touch. Our rooms were identical both nights except for...

I'll try to keep it short-Reservation was wrong. Totally screwed up casino credit for food and free play. The casino hosts did try to make this right. Our rooms in the club tower were dated, no coffee maker, no refrigerator, old furniture. We brought friends with us and I was embarrassed of the condition of the rooms. Found a bug...

Simply put, while not a bad hotel, it is difficult to recommend the Tropicana with so many other better options both on and just off the Strip. It is only hoped the new owners and Hilton management will make improvements as necessary to allow this hotel to gain some semblance of its prior glory. Unlike other hotels on the Strip,...

Room was just Ok. View was facing airport. Planes took off day and night, keep the windows closed and it will block out most sound. Bed was hard and by night 2 of a 3 night stay, back was hurting. Long walk from hotel to casino and out to strip. Casino was subpar and small. Very close to other casinos...

Absolutely lovely hotel 10 mins from airport and right on the strip next to the MGM Grand. The Tropicana is not the biggest or best looking hotel on the strip but the staff, rooms and price are something else! Staff friendly and very helpful always happy to help. Rooms clean and spacious.

The room rate was quite low, even with the resort fee that all Las Vegas Strip hotels charge. I was attending a concert at Mandalay Bay. The Mandalay did not have a reasonably priced room. I selected Tropicana over Luxor and Excalibur because I consider it more suitable to my requirements, and it is also part of the Hilton family....

This is our second year staying at the Tropicana during CES and holding our round table event in their conference center. Firstly we have never been disappointed in the accommodation provided, we have stayed in suites in both the paradise and club towers and both were clean and appointed to the standard you'd expect of a DoubleTree. What I particularly...

Our room was Ok but wasn't the most sound proof. The lobby is dated and lacklustre however the dealers were great...helping out whoever asked. Decent amenities but just a hair removed from the action of the strip for me.

Compared to the other hotels on the strip the tropicana is a standard hotel. Rooms are clean ans spacious and we had a great view of the strip. Pool is also fab. Type of pool you would find on beach holiday. Compared to other hotels on the strip the tropicana doesn't have the same grand OTT feel. The casino is...
