Terrible service can’t find anyone responsible for anything here. It’s terrible and it’s expensive. The pool area is filled with young entitled girls that really don’t want to serve a thing, and of course want nice tips. The service in the pool area is hands down the worst I’ve ever experienced. Nothing works, no one gives a @&$! and the managers are absolutely clueless. I Own a hotel and I would fire most of the girls immediately. Maybe they are pulling tricks in the side, because it just doesn’t make sense. The restaurants are nearly as bad. Managers are quick to say they are managers and they don’t have any authority to do yeah, anything. I’m going to give a special mention to the most awful manager at the restaurant Salt and Ivy. After 30 minutes of not being served whatsoever at the pool, I came into this restaurant that is attached to the pool area. The first thing they said is I can’t be in there without shoes. Now I’m not drunk, I’m a decent looking tall professional businessman. And that’s the first thing this guy says? The restaurant is ‘connected’ to the pool. So I explained my situation and he couldn’t help at all. He couldn’t even get me a table! There where tons of tables. He said I have to go wait in line! Outside the restaurant that was inside the casino. The brain damage I experienced at this hotel is over the top. MGM is known for craps service and well they don’t disappoint, because it’s really crappy. Oh there is more. They didn’t bother asking if I had a car and like other proper hotels the garage uses your room key. Well they don’t just activate your room key for the self park, you have to ask! Yeah . All my point is this casino is all about terrible service and well hell! I’m baffled it can even exist.

Hotel's Favorite
Our first stay at Aria (after many years at Mirage, which is leaving MGM) was absolutely wonderful. Comfortable, clean room with a great view, excellent food and bar options (loved especially Javier's and Din Tai Fung), friendly and helpful staff, and fun gambling options (video poker and slots). We came with several family members and everyone had a great time. (highlights for them were the pool and poker room) We will return for sure.

Stay Report - 9/29 to 10/1 Location: Worked great for my purposes as I was attending a conference at Planet Hollywood.  I like this part of the Strip too, it's quieter than farther north and the hotel being where it is keeps a lot of the less desirable visitors to Las Vegas away from it.  There's also a 24 hour CVS next door.  Do note if you're driving you're forced to turn south leaving the hotel which can be a little annoying Hotel: This hotel took a while to open and it's still pretty new.  The casino is a very good one with table games, poker room and slots though if you like older style reel machines there are very few.  The Mezzanine Level is massive and has a bunch of restaurants including a Star Bucks, cafe/pool bar, steakhouse and French Bistro while the casino level has an upscale Mexican place, a burger joint, a few fast food style places and a bar.  The elevators are divided into banks that only serve a few floors so I never had to wait.  Security of course checks to make sure you have keys and you need a key to operate the elevators.  As with all Vegas hotels there can be really long walks to your room.  There's both self parking (really far from your room) and valet.  The valet system worked well and I never had to wait long to get my car.   Check In: I arrived at 9 PM and waiting about 5 minutes to get to the front desk.  The agent acknowledged I'd booked via FhR and also added my Hyatt number.  No luck getting an upgrade but I wasn't expecting it.  Room: I'd paid extra for a deluxe strip view and the view itself did not disappoint.  The room felt like generic semi luxury but at least it had a really good bathroom.  The bedroom itself was fairly non descript but at least there was some good technology.  There is a mini bar, wifi worked well and there were no issues with soundproofing.  Dining: I used my $100 FhR credit first at Salt & Ivy for breakfast and the food was great.  I then used the rest at dinner at Jean-Georges Steakhouse which I found to be absolutely excellent.  Overall I very much enjoyed my stay.  I'd gladly come back.

The interior of the hotel is nice - but my room was disappointing - it only supplied soap - no other toiletry - the curtains were hanging off the rail. So I was a bit disappointed, granted it was a rewards room where they stick you on the third floor - so maybe it's a different experience on other floors. The gym was great, but the pool area seemed a bit cramped compared to other vegas hotels. A big issue was the bluetooth key system - everybody was having problems with it in the elevator and in the rooms. So go for the physical key.

First time stay at the Aria for a trip with my son. Booked online via the MGM-Aria website and setup the MGM app (again, first time use). On arrival at the airport, around noon, the app notified me that the room was ready. I intended to use the virtual keys where you use the app as your key card, so I sent a link to my son who added the app and got his room key too. On arrival at the hotel, we located the elevators and went straight to our room and got in easily enough. Very unique experience with never talking to anyone! During our stay the virtual key worked pretty well, sometimes with a slight delay. The trick is to have the app open and ready as you approach your room or elevator and tap it on the control. That seemed to work easily enough. We had a centre suite strip view room and was lucky enough to get the outside/end unit which gave us all glass on two sides. This made for plenty of natural light and great views. The room was everything I had hoped for and more! You walk into an entrance hallway that leads to the front room and the bedroom and bathroom was off the hallway. The bedroom is a room onto itself, so my son was able to sleep in while I checked on work and got caught up before heading out. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom everything you could hope for. A large soaker tub, two sinks, walk-in shower and toilet/bidet. And of course, views out the windows being an end unit. The Aria has lots of tech with two tablets in the room to control lights, shades and curtains (all electric). You can also control the temperature in the living room, bedroom and bathroom separate from each other. The front room had a large TV, mini-bar, and work desk. The big surprise was a bar fridge for our own use! This allowed us to buy our own water and drinks and keep them cold. The mini-bar is to be avoided! A bottle of Fiji water was $25!! It was cheaper to order a drink from room service than use the mini-bar! There’s a CVS right outside on the strip so easy to grab all the drink you want at real prices. I would describe the Aria and being located fairly centre on the strip. Nothing is too far and everything was easy to get to. While it is located behind the Waldorf and Vdara, making your strip view somewhat removed, you still see the strip and have good views. I thoroughly enjoyed having my morning coffee while looking out at the view each morning! Restaurants in the Aria were good and priced not too bad. The best deal has got to be the ice cream shop where a single cup of gelato was about $5! I must mention the elevators too. I think only twice during our 5-day stay did we ever wait for an elevator to arrive. They are fast and seemed to always have one ready on each floor. Very nice! Checkout was as simple as check in, so basically I never talked to anyone for booking, check-in or check-out. Of course this won’t work if you’re hoping to try the $20 check-in trick. All in all, I will and want to come back and try the Aria again. Note: We used Uber when needed and never waited long. I don’t know why the hotels push ride-share pick up locations to such obscure locations when the service is superior to that of taxis

Great hotel overall. It’s awesome how close it us to Park MGM and Nomad. Great location! The check in was great! Sheila Pierri was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area. She gave us wonderful tips of the area.

I had the best service from Sheila Pierre. She made me feel comfortable and went above and beyond to make sure I got into my hotel room in time to make a meeting I needed to have. What a wonderful experience and elevated the experience of staying at a hotel that I already love.

This resort was absolutely perfect!! Rooms were super clean with a beautiful mountain view. The beds and linens were super clean and comfy. Stay away for the 26$ bottle Fiji water and snacks. Any beverage or snacks that are in the room are VERY expensive. You can walk to the CVS to get snack and water. You can also just play in the casino and you can get all the drinks you want for free. A trick also is when playing in the casino just ask for a bottle of water. It’s small but will do the trick. Staff are very nice! I have been to many resorts and the Aria staff are Amazing! My only negative comment is that there was only one breakfast restaurant salt and Ivy. You could go to the Starbucks to get breakfast but the line up was brutal. The casino area was very clean and even though some patrons smoked the ventilation is amazing and you would never know people were smoking. And there was always a sweet vanilla scent in the air! Smells so good at the Aria. I’m going to miss that scent! The pool usually opens at 9am and of course if you don’t get there early you will miss out on a chair with an umbrella. It gets pretty hot so either get chairs with an umbrella or a spot in the shade. I would definitely recommend this resort to friends and family.

I was here on a business conference and the first time staying at this hotel / resort. The place was spacious and modern feeling. The room was great and had a nice view of the Cosmopolitan and Vdara hotels across the way. Good thing I like architecture. Lots of fine dining and massive casino floor. Favorite shop was the Pastry spot -- I think I gained a pound from that place alone. My wife accompanied me on this trip and while we were in the room, she looked in the mini fridge. Before I knew it, she picked up the tiny bottle of patron and giggled "how cute". I panicked and called out for her to put it back. I explained that those have a pressure sensor and if you move the bottles, you get charged. She didn't believe me until we checked out and it was on the itemized list. Before checking out I pulled up the price on the in-room control pad (very cool by the way. You can control everything in the room with it, except the toilet and shower). The prices were insane. That tiny bottle of patron was $90. A 16 oz bottle of Figi water was $15.75 (a pack of 24 on Amazon is only $22). The small bag of peanuts was $24. Now the funny part of this pricing...we went to Bellagio for lunch and picked up a bottle of Figi water of the same size for $6.50. More reasonable to say the least...LOL.

Here for conference. Good clean room, a little banged up but great amenities and roomy, a beautful view, nice shower. Plenty of room with 2 closets. Not too loud at night. For quick bites you can order online at a several of the restaurants and go pick it up after 30 minutes. I did not go to pool The work out room is free (BIG PLUS) and open 6-6. It is huge. A lot of the restaurants had long lines at lunch-did not go there. There is a pastry place by the guest elevators that is open even at 4 am and the lattes are only $5!!! That was big plus since no coffee maker in the room. Most annoying thing--drank bottled water in the room $25!!! Ridiculous . And no warning. I thought it was just there. Understand this is vegas but... There is a CVS a few blocks down, walk there and stockup if you need Easy check in and check out
