Bathroom, upon arrival, had previous guests long hair stuck to shower wall, and pubic hair on floor and sink ( literally on the “request new towel” sign, which was never cleaned the entire time, despite requesting/complaining to front desk twice. Had to shower with it the whole week. Found someones old body butter container under the chair, and the mini fridge beeped for no reason and had to be fixed. Staff were rude and disinterested. Stay up the strip elsewhere, you’ll be better off.
MGM is very clean hotel with very friendly staff, the best restaurants, great shows, lots of slot machines, great walking location to New York New York, Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay. My wife and I love the easy walk and experience through the shops and casinos to all the aforementioned hotels. It is also a stop on the Monorail route, which is a good way to visit other casinos on the strip. We've stayed at other hotels but MGM Grand is now the only place we stay when visiting Las Vegas.
Rooms were very old. Bathtub and curtains in bathroom. Beds were average. Should have had a mini fridge for personal items. Overly loud at pool and it was hard to relax Party mode all day long at the pool.
I was at he MGM for one night in Las Vegas. The room smelled like smoke, even thought it was a non-smoking room, the carpet was very dirty with lots of stains. They had a letter that says they were having constructions and it might be noise from 9:00am-5:00pm, but at 6:30am there was drilling and hammering. They told me that I could go to reception to get earplugs, but who wants to do that at 6:30, when the lobby was on the other side of the building. Also I have a disability and it was not easy for me to get there. Worst experience ever, I couldn't wait to leave.
The hotel and staff was nice; great restaurants and stores. Loved that the hotel was close to the strip. I didn’t get to do everything I wanted but I had a great time and will definitely be back! Thanks for having us
Quick & efficient check-in. Quickly solved issues with the room. Dining selections are incredible. Lazy river/pool safe & friendly environment. Our favorite hotel in Vegas. 2 incredible shows with Carrot Top & Jabbawockeez. Highly recommend.
Such a beautiful place to not have staff greet you a warm welcome- housekeeping was kind and held very small conversations but at least they spoke. Hotel was in a pretty good location- we were asked what view we wanted so I asked for a room where we could see all the city strip lights…. We we directly looking at the airport 👀✈️✈️✈️. Not the view we asked for.
Hotel is nice. Clean. Easy to get around. The pools are way overcrowded. Two pools were completely closed. Other two was not accessible due to overcrowded. The worst is no freaking coffee anywhere unless you want to wait in a 45 min line every am at starbucks
Room was very clean, housekeeping staff very friendly. It was easy to find places and get around the resort. The hawkers we ran into on our way to the pool were rude and obnoxious. We saw one get very confrontational with a guest after she was polite and turned down his offer. Only thing I didn’t like. Other than that, I’d stay here again.
As long as you are out on time, that is what matters. Doesn’t matter there were bugs in your room for the next person, doesn’t matter if you paid for late check out they log you out of the app, they have house keeping knock a bunch while you are still there. They don’t care if you make it to your flight- they will say it is “shift change” and they can’t find your luggage.
