I literally love this casino/hotel, especially since I am not one to engage in gambling. It has beautiful antiques, the rooms are clean and comfortable, its buffet is good, and the restaurant serves a wide variety of food. My husband and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary in June at this facility. It is located within walking distance to the... More

This is the best deal and best prime rib you will find around Fremont Street. $13.99 for a Kings cut with baked potato and veggies. They offer a great selection of beer as well. Their menu has a variety of options and provides great service!

Let's be honest: I rarely saw anyone under the age of 60 here, and that's absolutely fine. But if you want a party experience at your hotel, then this is the wrong place for you. ...or you could walk to the Fremont Street Experience which takes about five minutes. Seriously though, this place is great for the budget-conscious traveller: my... More

One of the least -expensive buffets in Vegas; and one of the most comprehensive selection in the up-town ( or as some call it ; the downtown ) area. A favorite with locals who crowd it at every mealtime. There are 7 various stations serving food types from several countries; as well as a large salad/soup station and for the... More

Staff was courteous and efficient. We checked in around 1030 pm and I was pleasantly and speedily given a room (Non-smoking) and in bed after a nice shower by 11. Parking for Main Street is the BEST! They have a big deck for guests and a huge lot for customers and those who just want to walk Fremont. (I said... More

Visited here for lunch today at the buffet. Only $9.99 for all you can eat. A very good value for what one receives. Plenty of items from which to choose. A wealth of items available in the dessert section. Though I did not partake, I noticed that they offered some soul food (collards, ham hocks, corn bread). I did take... More

My wife and I ventured to Fremont Street from South of the strip doing the tourist thing. We were trying to find some decent food and found the Main Street Casino and decided to grab an early dinner. They brew their own beer and decided on a couple of their Marker Pale Ales which was really good. I had their... More

Positives: -You can be downtown without all of the Fremont Street noise -Room was clean and spacious enough -Nice theme to it (like a Victorian railroad station) Negatives: -I had requested a high floor room with a city view and instead ended up about midway (9th floor) facing the freeway. I could hear the traffic zooming by. And it's not... More

The building itself is charming and full of historical beauty, but the hotel upkeep is sorely lacking. The pervasive smell of cigarette smoke is really unpleasant. The in-room bathroom (15th floor) was dated, dingy, and sad, with discolored lumpy caulk around all the fixtures and a sink faucet that's gotta be 30 years old. Also, the noise from the train... We were here on one of the hottest weekends of the year. As we drove into Vegas it was 109 degrees. I was SO pleased when I saw that all the parking was undercover. Not only was there a multi-story car park but the outside parking was under the freeway, so although always full, people came and went often so... More
