Overall we enjoyed the hotel. The location was fine for us. It was just two blocks off of Fremont so the good news was you didn't hear the pounding bass of the music. The room was nice size and pretty clean and I think parts of it might have been somewhat new. My complaint has to do with the resort fee. They promote transportation to the strip. Well it's one time a day and it's at 8:30 pm. Horrible. Second you can use the pool at the California. Guess what the pool was open from 9 to 5. Horrible. Resort fee is pure profit to the hotel for nothing.

It's probably because I am from Hawaii that I love this hotel. With most of the guest being from the Islands and local Hawaiian food options, I really felt like I was in Hawaii. Rooms are clean, service is very friendly.

My friend and I enjoyed this hotel stay from May 12 to 15. I also stayed here back in March with my family. So I suggested this hotel to my friend who had not been to Vegas in eleven years. We really enjoyed everything, especially the connecting bridge to California hotel. The lunch buffet with the sapphire card is discounted two dollars. The buffet even without a discount is so reasonable. Service good food good. Rooms were clean well stocked with amenities. Ac little loud but we were fine with it. Water pressure was weak, so they sent a maintenance guy name Frank, who took care of the problem in no time. Frank was a delight, he takes pride in his work, he truly is an asset to this company. Would like to give kudos to all the wonderful staff here, Erica housekeeping keeps the rooms tidy, Rita front desk so helpful, friendly, thank you Rita. Greg in advantage very informative, operator Sharon so pleasant, Geraldo bellman funny and personable, Jimmy bellman helpful, Stewart bellman terrific, Great security all the boys from Hawaii, and big island, didn’t get names, but got one name, Phillip so nice thank you Phillip, and all the security for keeping guest safe. The staff is really what makes this charming hotel so charming. For those of you who love oxtail over at the California, they close a certain time on Tuesday, for deep cleaning. So we found out we can have the oxtail over at Mainstreet triple 777 restaurant for oxtail. The hotel has good and reasonable buffet, and again we found the hotel to be clean And always security before going up elevators.

We travel to Vegas once a year for the last 6 years (not gamblers though) and all but the first two years we stayed at Main Street Station. When the others started charging Resort Fee's ($20 a night ontop of the room) we found Main Street Station quietly off Freemont Street. The staff was super attentive and friendly as always, the rooms have always been awesome!!! However they now charge a resort fee too, funny in the same sentence the card at the check in says 'complementary wi-fi' then says your forced to pay $19.95 a night for that. There is a pool and fitness center included, but it's at another hotel (2-star?) the California on the 13th floor which you have to go to the desk and get a pass. Not convenient at all. Soley because of the resort fee we will be looking for another property for the next visit. So sad as we really liked this hotel, now it's going to cost us an additional $20 a night for something we will never use.
