My family and I checked out the place and found that they had free continental breakfast foods (pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice) available for owners. The room was nice and modern. And the staff working today, Michael and Loreal, were very kind to us while we were at the Westgate Club.

Update- I attempted to speak with a housekeeping manager, the best I could reach was a front desk associate who was incredibly rude. She tried to tell me that because I had already checked out that I had no right to complain! I said I'm making no demands other than for the next guest to not have a dirty hotel room the way I did and so I absolutely had every right. Then she tried to tell me there was no record of me calling about the blood on the sheets. I said that's not my fault and to speak with housekeeping because it most certainly happened. She shut up and let me tell her about the issues, and ended up eating her words and refunding a single resort fee for my troubles. No where near enough for the cost of the room and the cr**py stay I had, but I wasn't asking for anything so I guess it's a win. Don't let the slightest complaint go. B**ch about EVERYTHING. I heard some lady complain at the front desk about the hotel being pet friendly. The associate explained that the lady should have done her own research on that because reservations wouldn't tell you it's a pet friendly hotel unless you asked, and that the site of an animal is rare to begin with. That lady got a better room for absolutely NOTHING. While I had a super old room and wasn't a complainer over something that I should have known on my own -that lady. -Check-in was quick. -Beds were softer than a motel 6, bloody stained sheets though. -Had mail delivered and stopped by the front desk to inquire about picking it up. There's an attendant before you get in the line at the front desk whose job I'm assuming it is to tell you if you're in the right place, but not this woman. She wasn't sure-told me go ahead and wait in the five party long line just to find out from the line front desk attendant all mail goes through the FedEx office on the other end of the casino. Waste my time. -Our first night there the husband and I were taking a walk along the front outside, and apparently walked down the wrong side walk. Five steps and a guy in a truck with a huge attitude comes yelling at us to get out of valet, that it's a fenced-off area and that how the heck did we even get in there?? Maybe it was the poor lighting, the zero signage, the fact that nobody else was around anywhere because it was a Tuesday night, and that it looks like just a parking lot? What a jerk, maybe address the bums that are constantly around the north parking entrance. They're there every single day, even sleeping on the benches. -Elevators could be reprogrammed. Had several waits of 10+ minutes to come down. -Lastly the room wasn't clean. As a housekeeping manager myself that was quite disappointing. The dust could be seen walking into the room. The floorboards around the carpet edges were covered in a thick layer of white dog hair. Then I started noticing the ground scores. First it was a pen. Free pen! Right in the middle of the floor. Then a piece of gold chain from maybe a purse?? But I'm pretty sure it's fake. Plastic clothing tags. Best find was the inch long piece of glass. And more dog hair. Luckily for the MOD I'm chill about it and the toilet was clean, and the bath and sink so I just let the floor and hair go. But then I'm getting in bed and there's blood under the pillow!! Heads would have rolled. The fact that it was a stain right there where it absolutely could not be missed even if the housekeeper was rushed. Inexcusable. Didn't even get an apology when I had to call housekeeping either. Whoever answered actually seemed annoyed I had a problem at all and hung up abruptly after saying someone would be up. Very lackluster stay experience. Was my birthday and I just wanted to relax but was not easy. Overall I can't give more than one star. I just wouldn't recommend or go back.
