Let me start by saying that i’ve been a fan of the Flamingo for years and can stay complimentary at any Caesars or MGM property and choose to stay at the Flamingo because of its location, theme, renovated Flamingo rooms and a little bit sentimentally because my parents used to stay at Flamingo back in the day. On my most recent visit, my niece got married at the Flamingo with 50 guests, all staying at the Flamingo. My husband and I checked in on a Monday night. There was a long line and Diamond check-in was closed. We could not use the kiosk because we were there for six nights and my host was only able to comp me five nights and my husband one night and combined our reservations so we had to check in with a live person. We were told by the check-in agent that we were all set for the length of our stay, and that our reservations were connected, and there was no need to go back down to the front desk on Tuesday. Upon arrival to our room, (we had booked two queens because our adult daughters were joining us for a couple of days to attend the wedding) we had one pillow on each bed, 2 bath towels, a couple wash cloths and no hand towels. We texted the virtual assistant asking for towels and pillows, enough for 4 people several times and were told there was a shortage. On Tuesday morning, housekeeping knocked and asked what time we were checking out. We stated that we were there until Sunday and she said that her records show that we needed to check out and that I should call the front desk. I called the front desk and waited on hold for what seemed like ages and a rep finally answered the phone and said that we were scheduled to check out and needed to come back down to the front desk. I explained that I had waited an hour in line the prior night to check in and that the rep assured me that I was checked in for the length of my stay, and did not have time to go back down and she said that her records showed that I was checking out and that I needed to go back down. We had a wedding event that morning but the Diamond check-in was available so we went in. There was a person ahead of us complaining about the condition of his room. The front desk agent had to go back and speak to her manager which took 15 minutes, in order to “upgrade” him from a Fab room to a Go room. After he left, the agent stated to us that he had booked a $10 room and shouldn’t be complaining. (He had showed us photos of his room with mold in the bathrooms, dirty bedding and furniture falling apart). The front desk agent told us that our reservation showed we were there until Sunday and we didn’t need to have anything changed and she was unsure why housekeeping and the front desk clerk on the phone said we needed to go down, she printed us new keys “just in case” and we were on our way. Returned later and texted again to ask for towels and was once again told there was a “citywide shortage”. Other wedding guests had requested a change of sheets and were told there was a shortage and some had rooms that were disgusting. I felt bad for the bride as she took it personally when guests were sharing stories and photos of their room conditions. I don’t care if you book a Fab, Go or Flamingo room. The rooms should still be clean with furnishings in proper working order (there was a broken mirror, dressers with scuffs and drawers hanging off, moldy bathrooms, dirty bedding, stains on the walls). Honestly, my Flamingo room was fine, but the fact that they claim there is a pillow, towel and sheet shortage is a total turnoff and the fact that they expect guests to stay in run down disgusting rooms is unacceptable and I will be choosing another property from now on.

Was very happy with my stay here. Found check in easy with the kiask, was 3 hours early and did the early check in. They advised me 15 minutes Later that room was ready. Went back to kiosk and put my info in and it spit out two room keys. Yes there was a line but went super fast. Proceeded to room and it was great. I booked a renovated room and it was perfect and clean. No issues all 3 days. Opted out on maid service —-hang up your towel like u do at home. Lol. Don’t understand all the negative complaints about daily maid service. All staff i was in contact with were friendly. I would definitely return to the flamingo.

The room was not very good. The floor was dirty and so was the sink in the bathroom. The water drains slow. The maid left the cleaning bottle in our room as well. There was no warm water either. I am glad we were only there for one night. It is in a good location but that’s it.

TWO days without hot water....!! Major issues with housekeeping. Was told to "upgrade" to a better room, but essentially I paid more money for nothing at all. Have tried to get some sort of compensation from Flamingo, but so far nothing. Would never stay there again.

We stayed in this hotel for a week in July, I was feeling a bit sceptical about staying after seeing some reviews but I can honestly say we had a brilliant time. This hotel is perfectly placed on the strip, it has the Linq promenade out back to get to other bars & places to eat and it's got a monorail station if you want to go further without the walk. Our room was bigger than I expected and spotlessly clean. It was cleaned every day, clean towels whenever we needed them. Really big comfy bed with super squishy pillows, just what was needed at the end of a full on Vegas day/night. It's very much a party hotel, only quiet area is probably the flamingo habitat, no quiet areas in the hotel but I don't think you should be visiting Vegas if you want some quiet time. It has 2 pools, both were very busy all the time but we did manage to get sunbeds on the 2 occasions we went to the pool. The GO pool is again very loud with a party vibe so if you want something a teeny bit quieter go into the family pool, they are right next to each other so you can't completely get away from the party. There is a great little coffee shop in the lobby to get that early morning brew. Good happy hour at Carlos & Charlie's, we only are there once and had the Nachos, the portion was delicious and was big enough to feed a family. Every member of staff we came across were fab, absolutely no complaints about our stay in the flamingo we had a great time.

A very bad experience from the hotel. I hope they see this comment and I'm going to post it on all the websites! I'll start with the fact that we got a room with a bad smell of food, I went to the reception to ask to change a room and they told me that there was nothing they could do at the moment and that if I wanted to check it out I would have to wait the entire check-in line again from the beginning!! I went through several agencies until they agreed to change my room!! Second thing, our room was not cleaned for two days only after we told them they brought someone to clean!! The water in the shower was freezing!! I would recommend thinking twice about coming to this hotel!

Great location the rooms are fine, but I don't like the fact that they charged 4 resort fees for a 2 day stay. I paid in full before we got there and once we got there they charged us for 2 more resort fees.

Our stay at Flamingo was surprisingly pleasant. The hotel room was nice. The only thing that was an issue was the faucet. For some reason, it was very difficult to turn off. Otherwise, it was clean and comfortable. I love that the hotel is centrally located. We tackled the left side of the strip one day and then the right side the next day. The only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 is because of the parking garage (which you have to pay $18 a day for). The elevators were slow and you have people lined up with luggage to get to their floor (there’s a total of 7 floors). The parking garage was located on the other side of our hotel. It was quite a walk. When you go during August when it’s ridiculously hot, lugging luggage, kids, and trying to get to your garage floor can be exhausting. Other than the garage, it was a really good stay.

Room Tip: Parking is a pain. So be prepared to search for a parking spot during check in hours.
