From the newly renovated Flamingo Rooms to a wealth of dining and entertainment choices, Flamingo proves "fabulous is forever." With classic Las Vegas style and flair, it continues to be one of the Strip’s most-visited resort destinations. Outside, guests enjoy acres of waterfalls, winding pools and lush foliage at the Lagoon Pool and Wildlife Habitat. For adults, venture to GO Pool Dayclub for a high octane vibe and contemporary look and feel. Inside, enjoy performances ranging star siblings Donny & Marie to comedians. Diners can enjoy go tropical at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville or simply go all out at the Paradise Garden Buffet. Flamingo is also the home of the world's first Margaritaville Casino, a Parrothead paradise straight out of a Jimmy Buffett album. For those on the go, the new Flamingo Food Court hosts a variety of eateries from the all-American menu at Johnny Rockets to a taste of the Orient at Pan Asian Express.

We stayed here during the first week of August this summer. I believe this was my third time staying at the Flamingo. The first thing that you have to know and be okay with, is this is an old hotel that's been renovated over and over. Its got some great history. There are certain rooms and locations of the building where the age of the building is obvious. I like the high-roller rooms but the Go rooms are okay too. My room is always clean. They stepped up the customer service from 2 years ago when I stayed, it was a lot better this time. Okay so amenities: they have a good kids pool, but the slide isn't open until 11. The party pool is adults only. If you don't want to party and you also don't want to be with the kiddos then go to the adult side early in the day and during the week and you're golden. Its a nice pool. Food and beverage are available during all open pool hours. The spa facility is great, but it did cost me like 10 bucks to use even though I'm platinum. The facility was clean and the spa ladies were very attentive. Coffee shops are conveniently located near the elevator and its good coffee. The food court is nothing really to write home about but the restaurants are good. Carlos and charlies has good food and a fun atmosphere. The outside bird habitat is fun to see. The Flamingo also has a great location on the strip, its close to a lot of other good casino-resorts.

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed here 5 nights during our vacation. The location on the strip is great and you are right in the middle of the action! There are several restaurants/shops within walking distance as well as inside of the hotel/casino. We had a mini go sweet and it was perfect for our needs! We loved the layout of the room and we had a corner room with great views of the Bellagio Fountains and part of the Eiffel Tower replica! Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we slept well. We ate at the buffet for breakfast one morning and it was very good! There was a good variety of both breakfast, lunch, and dinner options and luckily our table had a great view of the flamingo habitat which was awesome to watch. I did use the adult pool on one occasion. I recommend getting there early if you want a chair and take into consideration that you will likely have to wait in line to get in because they check your id, room card, and any bags you bring in. I got in line about 10 minutes before the pool opened at 9 am on a weekday and had about a 20-25 minute wait from the time I got in line until the time I got through security. They do give you a bracelet that is good for that day and if you leave and come back and show them your bracelet, you can come up to security directly and you don't have to wait in line again. They do provide towels. You are unable to bring in any outside drinks/cups/food items. I did like the pool and enjoy the music. On weekends, when there is special entertainment, you do have to pay an additional fee to use the adult pool, even if you are a guest of the hotel. They have a smaller, family pool as well but I did not use that pool. We really enjoyed our stay, the room, the decor, the wildlife habitat, and location! It was reasonable and met our needs!

We have stayed at this property twice now in the last year. This hotel has all newly remodeled rooms and common areas. This hotel is in the middle of the stip and makes getting around easily. The only negative is that they charge you a $30 dollar early check in fee. Also the Wyndam time share sales people are very annoying and make the hotel slightly less enjoyable.
