I just attend the Furniture Market. My wife came with me and I upgraded to the Rush Towers. What a disappointment. There was not even a blanket on the bed. When I went into the closet look for a spare, I found a torn sheet that we were forced to use. The lighted make up light did not work and the air in the pipes in the bathroom kept us up all night. We go to Vegas and stay in Fremont at least twice a year. This is our first time staying at the Golden Nugget. When we checked in the front desk informed us that we were getting “upgraded” to the Gold Tower. I would hate to see the room they were going to put us in before the “upgrade” because the room we were put in was TERRIBLE. It was a non-smoking floor which smelled of cigarettes and marijuana the entire 5 days we spent there. Upon entering the room, we see the light shade looks like someone put their fist through it multiple times, there was a light bulb just sitting on the chair in the corner. As we are looking further into the room, it was not clean. The bathroom door was a frosted door and it had dirty fingerprints and other dirt like smudges, the bath tub had a huge hole in it along with dirt and hair along the whole length of the tub on the bottom by the tile and the paint was peeling and dirty. The drain stopper was broken and when showering it didn’t want to drain. The sink didn’t drain either and we had to keep turning the water off to let it drain washing our face or when we were brushing our teeth. My daughter had bent over the sink to use the mirror and the bottom part that the vessel was on started coming out (we didn’t even know it moved and I don’t think it was supposed to) and she found multiple pair of dirty socks. The room was supposed to have a blow dryer and did not so we went down and asked and were told well it should be in the closet in a bag. I let him know that the only thing in the closet was an iron and he seemed peeved that they had to send someone up with a blow dryer. We were in awe of how bad the room was, and we paid double the price then where we normally stay, hoping we would get a really great room. Please think twice before staying, especially if you have children and/or are wanting a clean, classy place to stay on vacation.

!!! WARNING TO ALL !!! BEWARE of LOST/STOLEN PROPERTY ON GOLDEN NUGGET HOTEL/STAFF’S WATCH !!!! I AM IN DISBELIEF by how LITTLE this HOTEL CARES for its GUESTS, their woes and they’re LOST PROPERTY. After checking out from our room, going to the airport and realizing that my passport and marriage certificate were still in the room’s safe, we immediately called the hotel. The front desk and the security Manager Anthony said that our room had not been cleaned yet and was still empty after us. THEY SAID that it was PROTOCOL for ROOMS to be CHECKED for any LOST ITEMS and that CHECKING THE SAFES would be a part of that. After telling us that they would do this and to call back tommorow. So we initially trusted their word, because why wouldn’t we. Now, it’s the next day, come to find out, that NO HOTEL STAFF MEMBER CHECKED OUR ROOM FOR LOST PROPERTY nor did they check the safe. All they did was the regular housecleaning, which was not all that what we were told was done after check outs, especially after calling and requesting the room to be checked while it was still vacant! - We stayed at this hotel for 4 days with a party of 5, staying in 4 different rooms, spending thousands of dollars at this hotel/casino only for NO HELP when we needed it. The workers at this hotel could care less about you or your problems. All they have to say is THEY’RE “TOO BUSY” and “try again tommorow”. And you get transferred around and round on the phone. Even if you were a guest and you check out they’re too busy for you and your REQUEST FOR SIMPLE ASSISTANCE TO CHECK FOR YOUR LOST BELONGINGS BEFORE HAVING NEW GUESTS STAY IN A ROOM THAT YOU STILL HAVE LOST PROPERTY IN! It’s just crazy! - The customer service is terrible and it takes forever to get a hold of the manager, who still aren’t helpful, because they avoid transferring your call to their manager. At this point, I feel like my property has been stolen by the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino and their LAZY, UNHELPFUL, NEGLECTFUL and CARELESS STAFF. I am so so disappointed in this lack of service and hospitality from this so called “hospitality industry”. Never in my life have I or my family experienced something so bizarre and frustrating with a “professional establishment”. After spending hours which no luck or help from this place, I will NOT be coming back to this hotel/casino/restaurant or anything connected to it ever again. -BEWARE OF LOST PROPERTY @ GOLDEN NUGGET!

We checked in to our room around noon. Husband took our bags to the room while wife SELF park the car. We meet back downstairs and headed out for a fun day in Las Vegas. Returned to the room around 9:00 pm that night. Wife showered first while husband picked up a quick bite to eat downstairs. My husband got in the shower and I climbed into bad. As I look to the nightstand to grab my phone I noticed a bandaid stuck to the night stand right at my eye level. First thing I thought was I was going to throw up. With COVID and all the precautions we dealt all day we came back to a room that had not been clean to CDC standards. We immediately called the front desk and they told us to take pictures and come down. (Not sure why we had to do their work) My husband went down and as he was talking with Victor the manager about the incident 2 officers approached him about the problem and told my husband they don’t have time for this. And made him feel like he was violated. They asked him to fill out a police report for something we reported to them. After 1 1/2 hours of how they are going to get us into another room or credit our room back with no charges. We did take the new room they assigned us which was 1126. The room was cleaner but as I looked around I felt it was still very dirty. I took a wash cloth to the light switch and around the bathroom and the floor and towel was black when I finished. Needless to say we climbed back into bed at midnight to be blessed with listening to the train all night. We should of just headed back to Washington at 9:00 pm because I’m sure neither of us will sleep with all the noise going on outside our room. Please think twice about staying here if you are okay with a dirt room then this is the place for you!! If you want a clean room with upstanding guidelines then this is not the place for you to stay at. Be Safe Be Kind Be Healthy

Rip off .... If visiting Las Vegas do not stay at this property. Do not park your car, the charges are really high and not clear, one sign says event parking, other sign displays hourly rate, it means nothing once you collect the ticket from the machine, its event parking charges, I will never recommend the Golden Nugget again.
